Hollywood’s hottest new horror hostess, Macabra, invites a panel of comedians to suffer alongside her through screenings of the finest failures in film. In the tradition of Elvira and Mystery Science Theater 3000, the glamour ghoul with a dark sense of humor coaxes comedic criticism from her cohorts inspired by the dreadful dialogue, delirious direction, and absurd acting featured in the evening’s entertainment. B-Movie Bash! with Macabra connects artists and audience over a shared “awful”experience, laugh-out-loud lousy art.
The show features different comedians every night, and a different film every three nights!

Macabra’s been going through a terrible afterlife crisis, but after years of isolation in an abandoned theatre following her immortalization, with nothing to keep her company but old B-Movie reels, she’s rejoining the land of the living! In spirit, anyway. Inspired by the film makers who fearlessly fought financial frustration to finish films that flopped, Macabra’s B-Movie Bash! celebrates failure, and honours the brave souls who shot for the moon, but landed on a flying saucer.
B-Movie Bash Hosted by Macabra runs from the 16 February through to the 12 March (except Mondays) at the Warehouse at the Producers (235 Grenfell Street, Adelaide). Tickets from Fringe Tix.
