Vindicta Step Into Their Power: Myth, Momentum and a New Era Ahead of Their First Australian Tour
Vindicta have arrive in the city of churches in Adelaide for the very first time, and vocalist Grace Pasturini says the band is more than ready for the experience. “We’re super excited,” she says, already anticipating the energy of local audiences. Grace has heard plenty about Australian crowds and their reputation for enthusiasm. “They’ve told me they’re really passionate, so I can’t wait.”
The journey to get here is demanding, with long-haul flights followed almost immediately by performances. Grace has learned how to manage the strain.
“I usually take a sleeping pill and try to sleep as much as possible. Our flights are long, and we often have to play the next day, so resting is the only way to keep my voice in good shape.”
Vindicta may be a relatively new band with only one official single released, but the work behind the scenes has been substantial. Grace says the process of building the project from the ground up has been both challenging and rewarding.
“There’s so much to handle that I never even imagined, and it’s my first time doing it on this scale. Our fans expect a certain level of quality, and we want to exceed it, so there are a lot of details and a lot of pre‑production work. It’s demanding, but it’s also been really rewarding and fun.”
The band’s live show is central to their identity, and Grace describes it as an immersive, theatrical experience built around a narrative arc. “It goes from birth to death to rebirth. It’s interactive, it’s dramatic, and all five of us are incredibly passionate performers, so we put everything into delivering a powerful show.”
Australian audiences can expect a setlist that blends familiar material with new additions. “Most of the set will be the material people already know us for, and then we’ll add the new single and maybe one or two surprise songs that we haven’t released yet.”
Vindicta are pacing their releases carefully as they build toward their debut album. “We want to keep the momentum going. We’re planning to release singles, and the album will probably come out by the end of the year. For now, we’re making sure each release has its own moment and its own momentum.”
Musically, the band is moving toward a heavier, more aggressive sound while retaining their symphonic roots. Grace cites the members’ varied influences as a key part of that evolution. “I listened to a lot of Pantera, Patri grew up on symphonic and power metal, and Amber comes from metalcore and more modern metal. When we put all of that together, it created something really interesting, like with Face of the Clown.” She says the upcoming material will feature strong choruses, aggressive vocals, heavier breakdowns and modern elements.
The album itself is a concept piece, drawing heavily on mythology and personal experience. “It moves through birth, death, and rebirth. We’re using mythology as a parallel to what actually happened to us.” The story of Lilith, she explains, is a central influence. “She refused to obey, was exiled, and then portrayed as a fallen angel or demon. But really, she’s a symbol of women who refuse to be obedient and stand up for themselves. We’re essentially recreating a theatrical version of our own experience, with some elements changed. It’s about liberation.”
Despite the structure of the concept, the songs continue to evolve. “We try to keep the songs really close to how they were originally written, but sometimes the creative process takes you somewhere unexpected. You start with one idea and it evolves into something completely different — and sometimes even better.” The band is currently writing virtually, but plans to continue the process together after the tour.
Vindicta’s first Australian visit marks a significant moment for a band already shaping its identity with ambition, theatricality and a clear sense of purpose. Their arrival signals the beginning of a new chapter, one built on reinvention, intensity and a story only they can tell.
