The Adelaide Roller Derby Grand Final is taking place on Saturday, 3rd August with the Mile Die Club taking on the Salty Dolls.
This is the night everybody has been waiting for, 2019 has been an exciting and game changing season. Now with one victory against each other on the scoreboard, the two original and pioneering Adelaide Roller Derby teams, the Mile Die Club (reigning 2018 champions) will face off against the Salty Dolls for the top spot for 2019.
The Grand Final is a double-header with two bouts. The Wild Hearses will take on the Road Train Rollers to open the night, fighting to gain the third place spot for the season.
The musical guest for the Grand Final is Adelaide indie-rock duo TOWNS. TOWNS have been busy thrusting themselves straight into the hearts of local fans, recently playing at SPIN OFF Festival and touring Australia with Dear Seattle.
As always the bout village full of local creators and makers will be open, there will be the endless sparkling wit of the commentators, Little Commie Bastards and there will be plenty of room for little skaters with safety gear. Come cheer for your favourite teams and skaters, and enjoy double the derby action in one night.
Once a victor has been announced, everyone will be at the after party at Wheatsheaf Hotel celebrating a massive 2019 season.
