Lime Cordiale’s Climate-Focused Lime Green Festival Is This Weekend In Adelaide
The countdown is well and truly on as the very first climate-focused festival Lime Green is on this Saturday. There are a stack of exciting details including cycling to the festival, set times, stalls and a stack of green initiative activations. Organised by brotherly duo Oli and Louis Leimbach of Lime Cordiale, the low impact, high-energy festival is ready to pave the way for greener music events.
Kickstart your Lime Green experience by biking to the festival with Lime Cordiale. With cars being recognised as the most significant contributor of carbon emissions at music events, Oli and Lou will be leading the ‘Bike Ride to Lime Green’ initiative and you’re encouraged to join them.
Meet at the corner of Greenhill Road and Goodwood Road in Adelaide from 1:00pm for a 1:30pm start and jump on ya bike to cruise into the festival with your favourite band, all while saving the planet.

Closing out the festival, Lime Cordiale’s set will finish with some incredible art installations from the creative folk at Toxic Surf, which will be a truly illuminating way to end the night. A South Australian, community-led initiative, Toxic Surf is a like-minded ocean loving collective bringing attention to the algal boom that the state’s coastline is dealing with. Toxic Surf is the handpicked organisation to be the beneficiary of the Solar Slice in which $1.00 from every Lime Green Festival ticket sold goes directly towards supporting their important work.

Joining the 100% off grid festival line up is triple j Unearthed Winner Effie Isobel. The Adelaide rising pop extraordinaire has built serious momentum over the past year after releasing a string of buzzworthy singles and hosting her own mini festival where she performed alongside some of Adelaide’s finest up-and-coming acts.
In between sets, make a difference by discovering some of the activations on offer. A carefully balanced program, gain practical insights and engage in meaningful conversations around sustainability with event partners, the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) who will be at the festival sharing their knowledge. Attendees will also be welcomed into the festival by ACF CEO Adam Bandt who will be getting the Lime Green party started with one of his much-loved DJ sets.
When it’s time to take a breather, tuck into some of the freshest paddock-to-plate eats with a line-up of organic food vendors serving up locally sourced and sustainable food options.
