For four decades, The Push has backed young Australians to find their sound, their people, and their future in music.
To celebrate 40 years of pushing music forward, we’re bringing Push Over back for one massive day of Australian music. This one-day-only special event brings together artists whose music didn’t just provide the soundtrack for generations of young Australians, but helped define them.
Push Over was Victoria’s longest-running all-ages festival (1992–2013), a rite of passage that showcased countless local punk, rock and alternative acts and introduced a generation to the thrill of live music. For thousands of young people, it was the first time they stood in a crowd and felt like they belonged.
For one day only, that legacy returns. For those who were there, it’s a chance to relive it. For everyone else, it’s a chance to be part of it.
The line-up brings together the artists who defined Push Over, alongside a special guest appearance by some of today’s best contemporary Australian talent.
It’s all happening Saturday 21 November at Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne!
Tickets go on sale Monday 27 July at 12.00pm AEST from Ticketmaster, with presales beginning Friday 24 July at 11.00am AEST.
