Northlane Announce Extensive And Intimate Australian Tour This March & April
Sydney heavy music pioneers and 3x ARIA winners, Northlane, will head out on an extensive Australian tour this March and April, undertaking a rare run of regional and suburban plays in intimate local venues they are unlikely to ever play again. They’ll be joined by special guests in Inertia, Reliqa and Heartline on select dates. Tickets for the run will go on sale Tuesday 10th February at 11am local time via Destroy All Lines.
The 10-date tour will start on Thursday 26 March at The Warehouse in Townsville and will then travel through Mackay, Rockhampton, Brisbane, Miranda, Central Coast, Torquay, Melbourne, Hobart and will come to an end in Forth in Tasmania on Saturday 18 April. Northlane will be joined by Inertia and Reliqa on most dates, with Heartline appearing at select shows across Victoria and Tasmania.
Through fearless evolution and unmatched innovation, Northlane have become vanguards of heavy music across the globe, entirely on their own terms. Across six acclaimed albums, the band have claimed two ARIA #1 records, Obsidian and Node, with Singularity, Mesmer and Alien all debuting at #3, alongside three consecutive ARIA Awards for Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album, as well as two AIR Awards for Best Independent Heavy Album. They’ve have spent the past year touring relentlessly across Australia, Asia, Europe and North America, dominating major festivals including Download UK, Rock Am Ring, Graspop, Resurrection Fest, Louder Than Life and Aftershock. In 2025, they’ll return to North America with Dayseeker, play a collection of European festivals and headliners, and appear on Australia’s first-ever Hellbound Cruise.
Joining Northlane on their upcoming run is metalcore favourites Inertia, a band built upon the foundations of dark pop infused with soul, grit and riffs. Inertia have carved out a distinct space in Australia’s heavy landscape, as proven with their debut album, Second Shadow (Resist Records). Entirely self-produced and fiercely DIY, the quartet have built their reputation through their work ethic and unforgettable live performances.
Also appearing across the run is fellow Sydney progressive metalcore outfit Reliqa. Since rising out of Sydney’s underground, Reliqa have established themselves as trailblazers in their own right. Their debut album, Secrets of the Future (Greyscale Records) showcased a band leaving no stone unturned in their quest for total musical expression, harnessing the most savage and passionate elements of modern metal fused with electronica, pop, prog and post-hardcore for the thrill of it.
Jumping on select Victorian and Tasmanian dates, Heartline round out the lineup. The Adelaide quartet have continuously shown themselves as an exciting and promising act to watch in the Australian alternative music scene.
