Budjerah Unveils Dynamic New Single ‘Therapy’

Ahead of supporting Ed Sheeran on his massive Australian stadium tour throughout February and March, ARIA award-winning, Coodjinburra artist Budjerah has today released his confidently charged new single Therapy.

Written by Grammy Award nominated Sarah Aarons (Zedd, Demi Lovato, John Legend) and Stint (Joji, Kesha, Panic! At The Disco), the track is an ode to the importance of therapy and open communication in relationships. With a guitar led production and a punchy pop-soul delivery, he finds a new bold confidence that still pays homage to his gospel roots.

“When I first heard the demo for Therapy, it hit me at the perfect time. I was going through a few things and the song really nailed how I was feeling at the time. Therapy is about frustration in a relationship. It’s the thoughts and feelings that can erupt when you don’t understand each other and that can be tough to deal with. Therapy can come in many forms, but taking a step back and getting an outside perspective is something that has helped me.” Budjerah says of the track.
