Kings Of Leon Share New Track “KOYSAR” From Forthcoming Album “O My Beloved”
Multi-platinum-selling rock band Kings of Leon release KOYSAR, the latest offering from their 10th studio album, O My Beloved, out November 6 via Love Tap Records, distributed by Virgin Music.
An abbreviation for “Kick Off Your Shoes and Run,” KOYSAR draws on the band’s childhood memories and the perspective they’ve gained as they raise families of their own. Continuing in the vein of the band’s recent, more laid-back tracks, the song blends a relaxed feel with a joyful, carefree spirit, reflecting on the simple moments that shape who we become and the lessons we pass on to the next generation.
“I was walking around the house and I kept singing ‘kick off your shoes and run,’ and it started to take me back to when we were kids and we didn’t have a care in the world,” said lead singer Caleb Followill. “I feel like these days all you hear about is how bad things are and how scared we should be for tomorrow, and I don’t know about that. I believe if we hold close the things and the people that matter most, everything is going to be alright.”
Rooted in the close-knit bonds that have always held them together, the music video for KOYSAR finds Kings of Leon enjoying a carefree day at the fair with their loved ones. It’s a joyful nod to the simple pleasures of their past, capturing the magic of keeping family traditions alive while making new memories.
KOYSAR follows My Whole World, the first single from O My Beloved, which emerged from a deeply personal place, with long-held memories and emotions finding their way into the music. It also follows Cold Blue Dawn, which arrived last month alongside a first-of-its-kind lyric video in partnership with The Weather Channel, using NASA satellite topography to bring the song’s lyrics to life.
With O My Beloved, Kings of Leon will deliver their most intimate and unguarded record to date, a collection of tracks that reflect on the people, experiences and journey that brought them to where they are today. Their first full-length self-produced album, the record brings their collective creative vision fully to life, resulting in a deeply personal sound that feels distinctly their own. The album is available to pre-order, pre-add and pre-save HERE.
The band have also confirmed their long-awaited return to Australia for shows along the east coast in early 2027 welcoming Ocean Alley as special guests. Dates are set for 28 February at Sydney’s Centennial Park (Sydney Summertime), 3 March at Brisbane Showgrounds and 5 March at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse.
