Music is a transcending medium and in times like we are living now we need it more than ever. The Clubnosis Experience: House Music Guided Visualisation by (Absolute Chaos Hypnotist) Matt Hale is one show that lifts you and takes you into an internal spiritual high. If you like House music and losing yourself in the moment, then this is the perfect show for you. While The Kingfisher venue at Gluttony isn’t designed like a club or disco room it’s not so much the venue that makes this experience come alive it’s your mind and willingness to let go!
Before walking in your given specially designed silent disco headphones which helps from any distraction in and around the venue. The key to fully enjoying this experience is to ‘let go.’ To be fully immersed in the rhythm and the beats of the songs. Hale with his hypnotic vocal tones guides you in channelling your thoughts and energy. Whether it’s to tell you open or close your eyes or imagine a happy or serene moment in your life he takes you to that place of contentment all without inhibitions. At first you feel unsure and hesitant but a few minutes in you forget about your surroundings and the people around you and become fully immersed in the freedom of ‘letting go’. You truly do dance like no one’s watching.
Dancing to your heart and minds content is truly a liberating experience. While it’s a little bit cathartic and a little bit liberating, all up it’s a experience that declutters your mind for at least an hour!
