Adelaide’s favourite ‘60s tribute show is back for the 2020 Adelaide Fringe, with a few major changes. The 60 Four, who have wowed audiences all over Australia with their sharp suits, slick moves and tight harmonies, will return to many venues across Adelaide as they pay homage to artists including The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Four Seasons, Chubby Checker, Johnny O’Keefe, and The Supremes.
Jack Conroy, who has toured with The 60 Four for two years, has recently taken leave from the group to join the Australian and New Zealand cast of The Book of Mormon, which will open in Brisbane in January before heading to Auckland later in the year.
“While I’m very sad to be leaving The 60 Four for a short time, I am incredibly excited to explore the newest chapter of my career and I will be straight back to The 60 Four after my contract finishes up. The 60 Four has been a massive journey for me both as an artist and as a human being. The boys are my closest friends in the entire world.” – Jack Conroy
Stepping on to the stage with Ben, Kyle and Lachlan will be Finn Green; a hugely talented performer with a wealth of professional performance experience. With Kyle residing and studying in Perth, and Finn in Melbourne, The 60 Four truly is a national effort.
The 60 Four’s youthful charm and electrifying energy stands them apart from many other music acts, transporting audiences back to their glory-days.
In 2020, The 60 Four will perform at The Arkaba Hotel, Morphettville Racecourse, and Sfera’s Convention Centre and Victor Harbor, before finishing the season with two momentous performances at The Norwood Concert Hall, where they will once again be backed by a nine-piece band.
‘We are thrilled with the response we have received since we put this act together. The joy this music brings people is wonderful to watch. A few years ago, if you walked into Scotch College’s music department, it was likely you would have stumbled upon four guys, shut away in a lesson-room singing Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. It has been a wild-ride but we are loving every minute.’ – Ben Francis
