N-Trance

The Wild Nights Tour is coming to Adelaide for a night featuring five of the world’s biggest dance superstars live on stage. Joining together for a night of a nostalgic journey are Cascada, DJ Sash, DJ Aligator, N-Trance and Love Inc playing all their biggest dance anthems. Coming to The HQ Complex on Thursday June 21 tickets are on sale now through Ticketek. Hi-Fi Way: The Pop Chronicles asks a few questions to N-Trance in anticipation of the tour.

Are you excited to be back in Australia and part of the Wild Nights Tour?
Massively excited, we were first signed to Pete Waterman’s label in the early 90’s and he produced massive hits from Australian talent. Our agency MN2S is housed in the building we recorded loads of hit records in. First toured Australia with Run DMC in the 90’s.

Do you have an places you want to visit or things you want to do while your in Australia?
I love the zoo in Sydney… I always want to spend hours there. I’m getting that hairy I might one day be an exhibit. I’ve visited most of the big cities but it’s one place I’ve not managed to reach yet.

How do Australian audiences compare to European audiences in terms of your live shows?
Australian audiences are very similar to the UK because they love to party. There is no language barrier, so you get a pure expression of music and a real exhilarating experience.

Do you have plans to release any new music?
Yes! New album called Brainstorm. We’ve all been getting married and starting families over the past few years so new recordings haven’t been a priority. We do perform these songs out on live gigs though and they gel well with our classics.

Which N-Trance song do you enjoy playing live?
Stayin’ Alive… I was very privileged to meet the Bee Gees & my photo with Barry Gibb and his amazing brothers takes centre stage on my staircase. I met them in 1995.

What can we expect from your live show on the tour?
Energy, Passion and Hype. We always perform to the crowd and that can’t be rehearsed. We share this lunacy with the audience. You are in for an electrifying experience ‘N-Trance Style’.
