Regurgitator To Take On Velvet Underground

Dig your way back into The Velvet Underground with a mishmash of funk, punk, pop and electronica.

Australian band Regurgitator collaborate with German/Australia musician Seja, and Chinese guzheng player Mindy Meng Wang to re-interpret 1967’s classic album The Velvet Underground & Nico produced by Andy Warhol.

2017 marks the 50 year anniversary of this seminal album release. What better way to celebrate than hearing one of Australia’s most iconic indie music groups reimagining the influential album which fused together pop melodies and avant-garde sounds – all tied up in lyrics about drugs, prostitution, sadism and cultural abandon.
