The Sharp have announced their Live & Loud Tour, a series of high-energy performances across Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales, celebrating the music, the fans and the band’s renowned reputation as one of Australia’s most electrifying live acts.
Known for their infectious guitar-driven songs, powerful performances and unmistakable blend of melody, energy and attitude, The Sharp built their reputation the old-fashioned way – on stage, night after night, winning over audiences with great songs and unforgettable live shows.
The Live & Loud Tour begins on Saturday 12 September at the St Kilda Bowls Club, where fans will have the unique opportunity to be part of The Sharp history. Both the afternoon All Ages Show and evening 18+ performance will be professionally recorded for release as The Sharp – Live & Loud, a new live album due for release on 1 November.
“The Sharp has always been a live band,” said the band. “The connection between the band and the audience is a huge part of what makes our shows special. Recording a live album in front of our fans felt like the perfect way to capture that energy.”
Following the St Kilda recordings, the tour heads to South Australia before travelling to Sydney and Newcastle.
Support acts for all shows will be announced in the coming months.
