Mark Seymour & The Undertow have rocked Hobart and Brisbane, showcasing Seymour’s retrospective new album Roll Back The Stone 1985-2016 (out now via Liberation Music) to adoring audiences on their much-awaited national winter tour. The tour debuted at Hobart’s Theatre Royal – setlist here – before two sold-out nights at Brisbane’s Old Museum last weekend.
Next in their sights is two nights at Melbourne’s Athenaeum Theatre, before touring Adelaide, Sydney and Perth, performing the countless hits and classic songs from both Hunters & Collectors and Seymour’s solo works in a celebrated 30+ year career.
Fans online have sung the show’s praises, declaring ‘that powerful voice just seems to get better’, ‘a fantastic concert’, and ‘awesome set list; great music’. To meet overwhelming demand, additional shows have been added in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney since the tour’s announcement, with tickets quickly getting snapped up across the country.
