Husky Reschedule Tour Dates

It is with regret that Melbourne band Husky reschedule their Castlemaine, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Newcastle tour dates. The change of dates is due to a lengthy (and untimely) illness for lead singer, Husky Gawenda.
“Dear friends, I’ve come down with Glandular Fever (also called Infectious Mononucleosis or the Kissing Disease). I’ve been in bed for two weeks already and the doc’s orders are bed for another couple of weeks. I’ve got my guitar, a pile of books and a plethora of herbs to beat this thing and to help pass the time. I’m really sorry about the change of dates but I’m gonna make sure I get back to full strength pronto so I can see you guys really soon. I hope you excellent ticket holders can all make the rescheduled shows. I can’t wait to see you all there! Lots of love, HG.” – Husky Gawenda
Ticket holders for the rescheduled shows will receive an email shortly. Tickets will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled dates and fans also have the option of a procuring a refund. All other shows remain unchanged.
Husky recently released their third studio album Punchbuzz, which debuted at #32 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Recorded in Melbourne with producer Matt Redlich, the captivating sound of Punchbuzz is of a band re-birthed, having drawn upon new inspirations to deliver their most exciting and experimental record yet. Punchbuzz follows on from 2011’s breakthrough debut Forever So (released internationally via SubPop) and 2014’s stellar sophomore Ruckers Hill.
