Katseye Announce Surprise Exclusive One-Off Pop-Up Performance In Melbourne On May 8
Universal Music Australia have today announced a one-off, free Australian 30 minute pop-up performance by two-time GRAMMY®-nominated and multi-ARIA-Platinum global girl group KATSEYE in Melbourne – as they make their debut visit down under!
The performance, taking place at Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Friday 8th May, is presented by Visit Victoria’s ‘Melbourne. Every bit different’ campaign in collaboration with American Express, Live Nation, HYBE & Geffen. Launching Melbourne’s winter season, this one-night-only show captures the city at its most vibrant, when live music and culture come alive and offering Australian fans their only chance to see the group perform live.
American Express Centurion & Platinum Card® Members can access a select number of priority tickets for the Melbourne performance via the Amex Experiences App from Wednesday 6 May 2026. This builds on American Express’ recent collaboration, offering Card Members access to exclusive KATSEYE merchandise during this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

To ensure fair access to this show, the following restrictions will be in place:
● There will be a ticket limit of 2 per person. Persons who exceed the ticket limit may have any or all of their orders and tickets cancelled without notice by Ticketmaster at its discretion. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or any other information.
● Ticket transfer will not be available. For bookings made in pairs, both attendees must enter the venue together. If transacting for others (such as a parent transacting for children), the lead booker must be present to scan their guests into the venue.
KATSEYE most recently also announced their highly-anticipated third EP titled WILD, featuring first single PINKY UP. This is the follow-up to the GRAMMY®-nominated group’s 2025 EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, (HYBE x Geffen Records), which debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200. Shaped by a defining two-year journey, WILD captures the feeling of a wild ride fueled by growth and transformation. Moving beyond the beautiful chaos of their last chapter, WILD leans into something more euphoric and untamed. Rooted in self-discovery and self-determination, KATSEYE embraces every version of themselves, resulting in a project that feels open, boundless, and entirely their own.
Locally, KATSEYE continues to make waves on the Australian charts, with Gabriela, Touch and Gnarly all certified Platinum – and Debut and Gameboy also certified Gold. Praised by outlets including The New York Times, Vogue, Rolling Stone, Billboard, and Complex for both their music and live performances, KATSEYE continues to solidify their place as a global force. Formed through HYBE x Geffen Records’ “The Debut: Dream Academy” and “Netflix’s Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE”, the members hail from across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and beyond, bringing a truly international perspective to pop culture.
