Carus Thompson Tour
A true Australian troubadour, Carus Thompson has been circling Australia since 1995, recording, writing, playing and exploring Australia, Europe and beyond, while reflecting our changing culture. Across his five studio albums ‘Songs from Martin Street’ (2003), Long Nights Are Gone (2004), Three Boxes (2007), Creature of Habit (2009) and Caravan (2011), Carus has explored both the sunny exterior and underbelly of Australian life and performed or recorded alongside the likes of John Butler, Damien Rice, Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, The Waifs, Charlie Owen, David Lane and Nicky Bomba.
His 2017 release Island explores even deeper into the Australian psyche, setting his acoustic sights on dissecting a country where refugees, isolation, apathy and Ice have taken over the national conversation.
Island is out on February 3 through MGM Distribution wherever great digital music is sold or streamed.
