New Single From The Gorillaz
It has been six years since the Gorillaz released any new music. Gorillaz have delivered Hallelujah Money and comes with the politically charged video that tackles the relationship between power, corruption and compassion which given all that is going on in America right now with the inauguration of President-Elect Donald Trump it is a timely reminder about what is important in life and how precious humanity is.
In a recent quote from Murdoc on the official Gorillaz Facebook page:
“In these dark times, we all need someone to look up to. Me. That’s why I’m giving you this new Gorillaz song, a lightning bolt of truth in a black night. You’re welcome. Now piss on! The new album’s not gonna write itself.”
Gorillaz co-founders Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett are no doubt plotting global domination with a new album this year but for now enjoy Hallelujah Money which features Benjamin Clementine.
