It’s A Sell Out! Powderfinger’s 2027 Tour Is Completely Sold Out
What a week. Following today’s general public onsale, Powderfinger’s momentous 26 date 2027 reunion tour is completely sold out. Every seat. Every city. Every show.
The response has been nothing short of extraordinary. More than 300,000 tickets have been snapped up in just six days, eclipsing the onsale of the band’s 2010 Sunsets Farewell Tour. It’s a staggering show of love for a band whose songs have soundtracked so many lives, and a clear sign that this reunion tour means as much to the fans as it does to the band. Powderfinger, and everyone working behind the scenes on the tour, are deeply grateful to every single person who has shown their support.
We know many of you missed out and we know how disappointing that is. Please know we hear you, and we have your back. Right now, the team is locking in one final encore run of shows that will close out this tour and we’ll share the details as soon as they’re confirmed.
In the meantime, we ask for just a little more patience. Please don’t lose heart. Bringing extra dates together takes time but we’re working as hard and as fast as we can to make sure as many people as possible can be there for what promises to be a truly special moment in Australian music.
“We are still gobsmacked by the response to this tour” said Bernard Fanning on behalf of Powderfinger. “A few weeks ago I was in the ballot for Radiohead tickets. It was BLOODY STRESSFUL and I was eventually lucky enough to be able to buy some. So I understand what a difficult process it can be when you’re trying to juggle work, kids and life in general. So, we are going to put together another string of shows in select destinations that allows as many people as possible to get their hands on tickets. Please keep the faith and be patient. We are just as excited to see YOU as you are to see us. Love BF xx”

Powderfinger’s 2027 tour will partner with Mission Australia, an organisation doing extraordinary work for the most vulnerable in our communities. Homelessness is complex and rarely a solo issue, often the by-product of family violence, mental health and financial hardship. It’s a cause close to the band’s heart, and throughout this tour they will raise funds and awareness for Mission Australia and those who need their support. More details on this partnership, and how fans can get involved, will be released down the track.
