Fatboy Slim Touring Australia In 2027

Fatboy Slim, the legendary and pioneering force in electronic music known for fusing genres and igniting dancefloors across the globe, is heading back to Australia in March 2027 for a run of tour dates across Fremantle, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne and he’s mixing up the venues! No two cities will look or feel the same.

Forget the festival mainstage. Forget the sweaty superclub. This tour of Australia sees Norman Cook take things back to his roots, getting closer to his fans in more personal, underground and urban outdoor spaces.

“For this tour to Australia I wanted to get up close with my people, play venues with real atmosphere and have a proper party!,” says Fatboy Slim. “Bridges, rivers, parks, old railway sheds – if it’s a bit weird and the sound system’s loud enough, I’m there.”

After a massive 2026 that has already included spots on the Quasar stage at Coachella, four huge nights on Brighton Beach and a closing spot at Rock in Rio in Brazil, in March 2027 Fatboy Slim will set up his decks for an intimate residency inside the iconic heritage bays of Carriageworks in Sydney. In Melbourne, he’ll take over The Underpass – a striking new urban location beneath the elevated freeway in West Melbourne, where monumental concrete and steel set the stage for a truly unique experience. In Brisbane he’ll turn the South Bank Forecourt into a riverside dancefloor for the return of On The Banks and in WA he’ll perform under the stars and by the ocean at Esplanade Park in Fremantle. Four cities, four completely different vibes, all with the same genre-fusing troublemaker behind the decks.

Alongside global hits such as Right Here Right Now, Praise You and Weapon of Choice fans can expect to hear recent releases Satisfaction Skank a mash-up of his own The Rockafeller Skank and The Rolling Stones’ Satisfaction, recorded with their blessing, and current single with Brazilian DJ Carola and Felix Da Housecat, Funk Drunk.

It’s Fatboy Slim as fans have rarely seen him: smaller venues but the same huge energy and unmistakable mix of breakbeats, funk and cheeky chaos that’s soundtracked countless clubs, beaches, festivals – and the occasional igloo and fish n chip shop – for over three decades.
