Wade Forster Unveils New Single ‘Love Crimes’
this Friday August 14 via Community Music. (Preorder/presave album HERE). Accompanying national headline shows also commence this October.
New track Love Crimes was recorded in Newcastle and produced by Simon Johnson and follows Wade’s previous singles Strange and Anytime, Anywhere, Antoinette with the latter track reaching #12 on the ARIA Australian Singles chart, the highest chart position for an Australian country single in more than five years.
Excitement is building ahead of The Aftermath album release which picks up where 2025’s sophomore release Gooseneck Party left off: the fire’s out, the dust has settled, and the long drive home has begun. “The Aftermath is the perfect album for the Sunday scaries. After a big night on the town or even a Gooseneck Party”, Wade explains.
The 2x Golden Guitar winner’s Aftermath Tour is already a huge success. The Melbourne show at the Forum sold out in 6 weeks in addition to his Metro Theatre, Sydney show scheduled for October 30, with tickets being snapped up in 15 minutes! A second Sydney date was quickly added for Thursday October 29 to meet demand. Performances at Perth’s Astor Theatre, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall and Adelaide’s Hindley St. Music Hall are also scheduled with special guests The Wet Whistles and Piper Butcher. On the tour, Wade expresses, “Australia is my home, it’s a part of who I am. To be able to do a tour like this is something very special, not just for me and my crew but for the fans and everyone who have support me along the way”. Tickets are on sale now via livenation.com.au
The Aftermath Tour is also making its way to the United States for what will be Wade’s third US tour of 2026. The six week run includes stops at Phoenix’s Crescent Ballroom, Salt Lake City’s Commonwealth Room, Denver’s Bluebird Theater, Chicago’s Carol’s Pub and Dallas’ The Kessler, alongside additional shows with Treaty Oak Revival. Demand is already building, with dates at Flagstaff’s Orpheum Theater and Des Moines’ xBk Live sold out, while a second show at the iconic Gruene Hall has been added after the first sold out.
The headline tour dates and album will wrap what has been a huge year for Wade that kicked off with winning Male Artist of The Year and Toyota New Talent of the Year at Tamworth’s Golden Guitar awards, a standout performance at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and a successful run of headline shows in regional Texas, including major festival appearances.
Still entirely independent, Wade continues to build a global audience on his own terms – now surpassing 100 million streams worldwide and reaching new career highs across streaming and social platforms.
From a cattle station in outback Queensland to sold-out shows across America, Wade Forster isn’t following a blueprint – he’s carving his own path.
