VOILÀ @ Lion Arts Factory, Adelaide 10/2/2026

VOILÀ are subtly taking over the world. Emmy nominated, smashing five hundred million streams and creating their own magical landscape that capture the imagination of the disenchanted, they are fast becoming a global sensation without the fanfare.

However, the real genius lies in their performances and tonight Adelaide gets the second ever taste of an Australian show from the band.

‘The Magic World of Voila’ is an interactive step into a colourful world of bunny ears, giant mic stands resembling Lumiere and a four act – with encore – theatre performance.

With temperature outside a cool thirty six degrees, it means inside it is less Disney On Ice and more of chasing down the rabbit hole as a mad hatter, it’s that hot. That doesn’t stop the duo from performing a 90-minute set of pop punk anthems with an enthralled audience.

The lights dim and a voice over the PA wants to test the singing voice of the crowd as tracks from Bon Jovi, Jimmy Eat World and My Chemical Romance have the young crowd illuminated in song.

Opener for Act 1 is Drinking With Cupid and the venue lights up in in chorus, melody and a catchy hook. Drop Dead Gorgeous follows and the duo, Luke Eisner and Guy Ross, make sure everyone is in on the action.

In fact, it’s something they do all evening, from Esiner going down on the barrier to play guitar or bringing a fan up to choose the next song, they engage, chat, and are humorous throughout.

The imagery is great, the two-pronged front attack works, stood atop a rider with the drummer behind. The simplicity of numbers on the stage makes them look massive.

The end of each Act, that voice over the PA opens up another world of imagination to each of us in the audience. As the duo roll through Act 2 featuring Table For One and Long Story Short, bounce into Act 3 with the massive Wish It On You and Dead To Me, it’s amazing how much energy they and the crowd still have. Bouncing, clapping and singing in a room that feels like an oven.

Act 4 brings out the big ones, FMK and Train Of Thoughts, songs the teenage broken hearted, in love or just confused about it all, immerse themselves in. Every song an emotional tug that the rocking Eisner and Ross deliver like a postman on Valentine’s Day.

Something Blue illuminates the room in blue hue as everyone sings and Ross gets everyone clapping to that stomping beat. However, the piece de resistance is Figure You Out. The cameras are out, the voices loud and the sold-out venue, drenched and visibly getter wetter, give it one last sprinkle of stardust.

I didn’t know what to expect from tonight’s show however it’s clear to see why these two have landed from another realm and are making such a splash. An enchanting evening of song, magic, imagination and fantasy.
