Del Water Gap Announces Australian Headline Shows This September
Del Water Gap, the solo project of Brooklyn based singer, songwriter and producer S Holden Jaffe, returns to Australia later this year for 3 exclusive headline dates. It marks his first visit since 2023, when he played intimate shows in Sydney and Melbourne plus an unforgettable set at Splendour in the Grass, and the release of the second Del Water Gap album, I Miss You Already + I Haven’t Left Yet.
The shows will commence on Sunday 21 at Max Watt’s, Melbourne followed by Tuesday September 23 at Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide and concluding on Tuesday September 30 at Liberty Hall, Sydney.
In addition to these headline shows, Del Water Gap’s Australian tour will include a slot on the SummerSalt lineup and support for The Wombats in Brisbane.
Jaffe issued a string of self-produced releases and collaborations, including the streaming hit High Tops (2017) before releasing Del Water Gap’s major-label debut Don’t Get Dark in 2019. He released his self-titled sophomore LP in 2021 before returning with I Miss You Already + I Haven’t Left Yet in 2023. Del Water Gap will play Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 1, plus Leeds and Reading Festivals on August 22 and 24 respectively, before heading out to Australia.
