Tropical Fu*k Storm New Single ‘Dunning Kruger’s Loser Cruiser’
Local psych punk heroes Tropical Fu*k Storm share Dunning Kruger’s Loser Cruiser, the latest single from Fairyland Codex, their highly anticipated fourth studio album out June 20th, 2025, on new label home Fire Records. Recorded with co-producer Michael Beach at the band’s Dodgy Brothers studio in Nagambie, Australia, the songs on Fairyland Codex immerse us in the chaos of a fateful landslide, picking out the characters that litter the impending collapse of society.
Dunning Kruger’s Loser Cruiser is a classic overestimation of knowledge with a ranting preacher highlighted over a disenfranchised choir of would-be non-believers. The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people with limited competence in a particular domain overestimate their abilities. Released alongside a new music video that was produced by Nespy 5 Euro (credits Gilla Band, Metz, Deerhoof) with contributions from 3D animator Happisoft, it’s another intense, animated adventure.

Tropical Fuck Storm are gearing up for a World Tour over the next year, Europe, UK and US dates announced, including stops at End Of The Road Festival, Manchester Psych Fest, and to perform as part of the Ice Cream Floats Cruise presented by Modest Mouse in early 2026.
