Mix Tape 36
Plenty of awesome new selections in Mix Tape 36, give it a spin…
Sydney’s favourite genre-blending hit makers Lime Cordiale have joined forces with global pop sensation Ruel for their latest single, Melodramatic Fanatic. Built on cruisy guitar licks and bouncy rhythms, Melodramatic Fanatic captures the essence of Lime Cordiale’s feel-good sound while giving Ruel the perfect space to flex his smooth, soulful delivery. The collaboration brings a fresh dynamic to the track, fusing indie pop and alt-rock influences into a vibrant, infectious anthem that’s as fun as it is clever. The track had it’s live debut with both acts in Sydney last year, before an encore performance at the Roxy in LA last month.
Say Oli and Louis; “We first got to know each other while writing this tune. It was a few years ago now, but it feels like we’ve been mates forever. We had a lot of fun putting it together, though there’s definitely a darker edge running through it. About a month before we wrote it, Louis and I witnessed a heavy car crash with teenagers behind the wheel. That experience left a mark so even though it’s happy sounding, there’s a dark undertone of reckless adolescence and messy young love.
We finished the production whilst on tour in the USA, recording guitars in hotel rooms and listening to mixes on the bus until we met up with Ruel in LA where joined us on stage for a little sneak-peak performance at The Roxy!”
Add Ruel; “Me and the LC guys have been sitting on this track for ages… just waiting for the right time to get it out. Sometimes when you listen back to things you’ve made, you kinda change your mind about how things sound, but not this one! The three of us love ‘Melodramatic Fanatic’ just as much now as when we first sat down to write it. Hope you love it as much as we do.”
Effective immediately, Hilltop Industries are making significant operational changes that will impact the way you work. After thorough evaluation, it has become clear that current structures are hindering productivity and growth. As a result, companies are partnering with Hilltop Industries to enforce necessary adjustments aimed at driving results and improving the bottom line.
The following changes are non-negotiable and will be strictly implemented:
- No More Long Lunches: The days of extended lunch breaks are over. Tightening up break times to ensure more time is spent working.
- End of 3-Day & 4-Day Weeks: Long weekends and flexible schedules are a thing of the past. Reverting to a traditional 5-day, full-time in-office workweek.
- No More Working From Home: Remote work is no longer an option. Everyone in the office, fully present, every day.
These changes are mandatory, and failure to comply will not be tolerated. To support this shift, Hilltop Industries have provided an instructional video that will outline how to implement and sustain these changes.
It is imperative that the Don’t Happy, Be Worry video is watched before the next town hall meeting.
Every team member needs to adapt quickly and fully to these changes, or risk falling behind. This is the direction we are moving in, and there will be no exceptions.
If you have concerns, bring them to HR. However, the direction is set.
Sincerely,
Hilltop Industries
Following their debut album and national tour announcement last week, Australian rap group ONEFOUR share their new single Family – a declaration of unity and loyalty, from the ones who were meant to fail. ‘Family’ takes aim at the labels often assigned to the group; instead weaving tales of allegiance and resilience making clear that their bonds are built on mutual support, shared struggles and triumphs, over victorious horn laden 808s.
It’s a bold declaration of the multi-platinum group’s journey, resilience and defiance in the face of forces that would otherwise keep them down. J Emz, Celly, Lekks and Spenny will take you through their transformation from the raw realities of street life they have endured, to the dizzying heights of fame, and all of the trappings that come with that success.
Speaking on the record, the band say: “It’s for those who want more. The ones who wake up and know they’re destined for greatness, no matter what obstacles they face. It’s a message of hope, a letter to the pain and a welcome to a better future that has no boundaries.”
Acclaimed Australian electronic outfit Crooked Colours return with the new single I Can’t Forget You. A heavyweight in the dance scene both locally and internationally, Crooked Colours have crafted a distinctive soundscape with over a decade of multifaceted experience, through ARIA #1 Dance albums and multiple national and international tours. Becoming synonymous with dance music that is both emotionally vulnerable and uplifting, the new single sees Crooked Colours stay true to this beloved sound, whilst boldly shape-shifting towards the future.
A contemplative exploration of love lost, I Can’t Forget You perfectly encapsulates the times where we can’t help but indulge in the past despite how it makes us feel in the present. Torn between moments of love and despair, distance and closeness, lead singer and producer Philip Slabber’s magnetic and sultry vocals carry the listener alongside the rolling golden basslines Crooked Colours have become known for. Gaining momentum at the drop, the synthesised keys ascend with the ultimate sense of hope and sweet release as Crooked Colours step through to the dawn of a new era.
Once a trio, now solely led by lead singer Philip Slabber, he shares that this is “the first light of a new dawn for Crooked Colours, ‘I Can’t Forget You’ I co-wrote with Julian Hamilton from The Presets and it represents the first step on a new path for the project. I hope you enjoy it, and listen out for plenty more to come.”
Music icons Sugababes have today released a surprise single Weeds – out now on their own label, distributed by The Orchard.
Weeds is the slow-burn heart of Sugababes’ sound, with their innate layered harmonies effortlessly taking centre stage on the atmospheric new song. The band has again joined forces with Jungle producer Jon Shave (Grammy winner for Charli XCX’s BRAT album) and songwriters including Anya Jones (Lola Young, Purple Disco Machine, Kylie) for the new single.
The band adds, “The love for ‘Jungle’ has been incredible, and watching it take on a life of its own has been amazing. But ‘Weeds’ reveals a whole other side of us, and we couldn’t think of a better time to drop it than on the first night of our arena tour. ‘Weeds’ is one of the most beautiful songs we’ve ever worked on—it’s about growing together. This one means a lot—we can’t wait for you to hear it.”
Indie-rock sensation Spacey Jane debuts their latest single, Through My Teeth. Dreamy guitars wash over album opener as frontman Caleb Harper grapples with the guilt and dissonance that come with growing up.
On the song, the band shares, “We’re really happy to have this song out in the world. It’s one of our favourites off the record and we can’t wait for you to hear it. It has a longing and nostalgia that made us all fall in love with the song – it goes and goes until the very last fill, and we felt it was the perfect way to start the record.”
The new track is the third offering from Spacey Jane’s forthcoming album, If That Makes Sense, which is set for release on 9 May. Last month’s How To Kill Houseplants premiered on Paste, who proclaimed, “The final product is an introspective and nuanced study of [Caleb] Harper’s lyricism, as well as the band’s innate finesse when it comes to creating grandeur out of just a few timeless musical components.” Previously released track All The Noise received early praise from the likes of PAPER who declared, “[This is] the kind of indie rock offering that makes you remember why you’d even fall in love in the first place, spelling out truths and vulnerable revelations over driving guitar parts and buoyant drums.”
Following a triumphant 10-date Australian tour with Kylie Minogue, and in the midst of her Australian East Coast headline run, Mallrat unveils the new music video for Hideaway – a highlight from her latest album, Light hit my face like a straight right, out now. Directed by longtime collaborator Tom Carroll, the video is a striking reimagination of medieval fantasy infused with euphoric rave energy.
Inspired by the track’s propulsive beat and lyrical warmth, the Hideaway video transports viewers to a mythical kingdom where a noble knight and a formidable dragon engage in an emotional battle—not of conquest, but of unity and protection. As the knight leads the charge, the kingdom transforms into a vibrant celebration, culminating in a breathtaking explosion of fireworks and communal bliss. Even the dragon, once a feared adversary, is swept into the revelry. Filmed with a raw, night-vision aesthetic, the video captures an unfiltered, intimate energy. Remarkably, the climactic rave scene was filmed in Mallrat’s own apartment stairwell, featuring friends and neighbours who turned the gathering into an unforgettable moment of collective joy.
Reflecting on the video, director Tom Carroll shares: “Grace, adorned in her glittering custom chainmail and fur coat, embodied the castle’s rave atmosphere perfectly; she’s a total star. In pre-production, this was the standout styling reference we both really liked (though I didn’t think it was possible with the time available), and Grace just made it happen—magic. The vision came together so naturally; it’s surreal.”
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard announce their 27th album Phantom Island, out June 13th, and share its lead single Deadstick. If you’re worried that, 15 years and 26 albums into their epic quest, polymorphous psychedelic voyagers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard might be running out of new frontiers to traverse, then let their latest opus set your mind to rest. The band’s second release on their own (p)doom records label, Phantom Island sees our intrepid heroes add a new dimension to their ever-evolving songcraft, embracing the symphonic and embroidering their tangles of lysergic riff and melody with strings and horns and woodwind.
The roots of the album can be traced back to the group’s legendary show at the Hollywood Bowl in June 2023. Gizz met some members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic backstage who urged them to take part in an annual series where the orchestra plays alongside rock and pop acts. Fast-forward to 2024, and the Gizz are hunkered down in their clubhouse, plugged into tiny practice amps and choogling to their hearts’ content. The results of these sessions yield that year’s ARIA-nominated Flight b741. But these sessions yielded ten further songs that didn’t quite fit the Flight b741 vibe, and which, Mackenzie says, “were harder to finish. Musically, they needed a little more time and space and thought.”
Quickly, the group’s collective mind leapt to the LA Philharmonic. “The songs felt like they needed this other energy and colour, that we needed to splash some different paint on the canvas,” Mackenzie says. He reached out to friend, British historical keyboardist, conductor and arranger Chad Kelly. “He brings this wealth of musical awareness to his chameleon-like arrangements,” Mackenzie says. “We come from such different worlds – he plays Mozart and Bach and uses the same harpsichords they did, and tunes them the exact same way. But he’s obsessed with microtonal music, too, and all this nerdy stuff like me.” Lead single Deadstick puts Kelly’s elaborate orchestrations on display, raising the graceful and complex song to the sublime, transforming it into a giddy jazz-rock riot.
Icelandic-Chinese artist, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Laufey returns with her highly anticipated new single, Silver Lining. The track is the first new original music since her GRAMMY®-winning breakthrough album Bewitched and its companion expanded version Bewitched: The Goddess Edition, and the first taste of what marks a new Laufey era.
Of the song, Laufey explains, “’Silver Lining’ is a love song about being able to set your true personality free when you fall in love. Your inner child comes out and you are emboldened by lust. Even if it takes you to hell, at least you’re with your partner.”
The video sees Laufey and her love interest attending a fantastical masquerade ball surrounded by colorful characters and Rite of Spring-inspired choreography before the party quickly descends into a surreal hellscape, plunging Laufey and her partner into a chaos of their own making. The visual was directed by Jason Lester, who Laufey collaborated with on the videos for From the Start and Santa Baby, and shot on 35mm film.
Australian punk-rock trailblazers Stand Atlantic are thrilled to announce the release of the deluxe edition of their highly acclaimed 2024 album, WAS HERE, which debuted No.3 on the ARIA albums chart. Set to drop on May 16, the deluxe version will feature additional tracks, and a slew of special remixes.
The deluxe gives fans the opportunity to delve into the music even more – with fresh takes on songs like FREAKIN OUT with PVRIS, and CRIMINAL, with Mr. Bill. The deluxe will also feature a brand new (and undeniably angsty) track with Alt-Pop singer Lauren Sanderson titled I’M THE MAN.
STAND ATLANTIC SHARES:
“We originally planned to drop “I’m The Man” on WAS HERE, but it didn’t feel ready at the time. We’ve been working on the Deluxe Album behind the scenes, revisiting old demos and turning chaos into something worth shouting about.
This one started as a what-if —If I was a rich prick who didn’t give a fuck about anyone or anything, what would I do? That idea spiralled into a pissed-off take on how power structures look to us: out of touch, untouchable, and way too comfortable. It felt like a fitting time in the world to release this song. We linked up with one of our favourite artists, Lauren Sanderson, to bring it to life. “I’m The Man” is loud, unapologetic, and hits harder than ever. It’s out now. Crank it.” – BONNIE
Globally renowned Australian artist Xavier Rudd unveils his latest single, Where to Now available now on all major streaming platforms (via Salt. X Records/Virgin Music Group).
Honest, raw, and reflective, Where to Now explores the disconnection, anxiety, and confusion of our times. With stripped-back acoustic instrumentation and Rudd’s unmistakable voice, the song speaks to a world in flux—offering both a warning and a moment of grounding.
“So many feet so far from the ground / If you find something to ground you, a deeper love to cling to / There’ll be nothing of more value to be found.”
Written during a time of deep personal and collective questioning, the track invites listeners to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters. It’s a stirring anthem for anyone seeking clarity in the noise.
The release is supported by a special exclusive livestream for those who pre-saved the song and will be followed by a special music video that brings Rudd’s message to life.
Ed Sheeran presses play on a new era with the release of his new single Azizam. Available on CD, 7” and DSPs.
Get ready to immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Azizam. A Persian term of endearment that means “my dear” or “my beloved,” Ed’s new song is a return to joy, to light, to love and to fun!
Azizam began as a meeting of minds in the studio with Swedish/Iranian producer Ilya Salmanzadeh (Ariana Grande, Charli XCX, Ellie Goudling, Sam Smith). Driven by Ed’s relentless curiosity they soon realised how much Persian and Irish folk music have in common and how only Ed could set those influences in a pop context. The result is a hedonistic technicolor call to action to live the moment “in between the dancing lights” on the dancefloor until the Sun rises. A celebration of cross-cultural collaborations brought to life, this rhythmic pop song is about the universality of emotion.
Ed said…“Even though it’s completely different to anything that I’ve ever done before, Azizam feels familiar to me. I wanted to create a party atmosphere in a song and Ilya Salmanzadeh, who I worked with on the track, helped bring that to life. He was so inspiring to work with.”
The explosive ARIA Award-winning ska juggernaut that is Melbourne Ska Orchestra return armed with a cinematic new single, Walls of Jericho, alongside the announcement of a mammoth global tour set to span Australia, Japan and Canada across July to October 2025. A charismatic addition to their ever-burgeoning repertoire, Walls of Jericho also marks the second taste of the band’s, as yet unannounced, forthcoming new album, following on from the group’s 2024 upbeat track John Wayne.
The Australian leg of ‘The Ballad of Monte Loco’ tour will kick off at Liberty Hall in Sydney on August 1, before moving through Canberra, Geelong, Castlemaine, Hobart, Adelaide, Fremantle, Brisbane and Gold Coast, fittingly finishing up with a home town show at 170 Russell in Melbourne on October 3.
A track bustling with undulating reggae rhythms, hazy undertones and brassy grit, Walls of Jericho instantly draws to mind classic Spaghetti Western films, channelling the widescreen Western storytelling of Ennio Morricone along with some other key stylistic nods, internally and externally, for good measure. “Burning Spear and Toots and the Maytals always whisper in our ears when we’re deep in that rootsy zone. And a touch of the MSO magico…” the band shares of their latest single. And amongst the jubilant melodics and sparkling delivery, Walls of Jericho also delivers a powerful message, drawn from historic tales that still permeate today; albeit with an uplifting conclusion, as the band explain, “Walls of Jericho is a reflection on the futility of war and how history often repeats itself when we fail to learn. It questions how easily people are led into conflict, often by those with something to gain. The story draws from ancient symbolism—the biblical tale of Jericho—and uses that as a metaphor for breaking down oppressive systems. Despite its heavy themes, the tune ends with an uplifting singalong chorus—because we always want to shine a light on hope, unity and the strength of people when they stand together.”
Rock legends The Darkness have stormed the UK Albums Chart with their eighth studio album Dreams On Toast out via Cooking Vinyl. It has entered at No.2 in the UK Official Albums Chart and reached No.1 in multiple charts including the Independent Albums, Rock & Metal Albums, Vinyl Albums and Album Downloads charts.
It is their highest charting album since their smash hit debut Permission To Land and Dreams On Toast has been universally recognised as their finest album in over 20 years.
Celebrating the success The Darkness have released the video for the new searing hard rock anthem Rock And Roll Party Cowboy. Co-directed by drummer Rufus ‘Tiger’ Taylor and Darri3D, the gloriously outrageous animated video glows with the fluorescent lights of Sunset Strip as The Darkness perform to rabid fans. They channel the sounds of hard rock legends such as ZZ Top, Motörhead and Judas Priest with searing solos, hell-raising vocals and a fist-pumpin’ rhythm section to create a tongue-in-cheek reflection on the hedonistic, macho music scene of the 70s and 80s.
The explosive video is packed full of pyro and also stuffed with Darkness easter eggs, from the spaceship synonymous with Permission To Land to Justin Hawkins’ noble flying white tiger steed which soared above fans at Wembley Arena in 2004. The Darkness returned to the iconic venue for a triumphant performance at the end of March to mark the release of Dreams On Toast as part of their most recent sold out UK headline tour.
Regarding the video Rufus says, “Only three things embody what it is to be a rock n roll party cowboy these days. My dog, Don Vito. The international live music band group, The Darkness. And the fans around the world who support us so fiercely. This one’s for you.”
Fresh from last year’s sold-out 40th anniversary 2024 tour of Australia and Europe, and following on from the release of their much-loved single Falling from the Sky, West Australian garage rock icons The Stems have released their ‘brand new’ single, Deep Freeze, in the lead up to their much-anticipated East Coast Tour and festival appearance at The Gum Ball this month.
Deep Freeze will be the second single from the band’s forthcoming album and is classic Stems’ Freakbeat / R&B stomp with all the classic hallmarks which has made them one of the most iconic bands of the genre.
The single, out today via Cheersquad Records and Tapes, is available on all streaming platforms, as well as on limited edition 7″ vinyl in translucent blue (100 copies), translucent teal (100 copies), and black.
The return of anti-pop singer and producer, PinkPantheress, as she steps into a fun, sexy and unapologetic new era with their latest single Tonight, out now via Warner Records UK.
Written and produced by PinkPantheress, alongside aksel arvid and Count Baldor, Tonight opens with sweeping cinematic strings before diving into a dancefloor-ready beat. Tonight sees PinkPantheress at her most playful and sensual as her honeyed vocals weave through the pulsating bassline, hypnotising and inviting the listener to let go of their inhibitions.
Set in a grand mansion, the Charlotte Rutherford-directed video openswith guests eagerly rushing inside, slipping into a refined ballroom routine. PinkPantheress and her friends soon arrive to disrupt the order, performing a routine that acts as a contrast to the rigid formality of the ballroom. Their energy spreads, unraveling the party as once-poised guests embrace rebellion. As the night unfolds, the lines between restraint and release blur, and the mansion becomes a playground of uninhibited sensuality and expression.
Speaking about the new single, PinkPantheress says: “I’m so excited to finally bring out the first single of my new project, i hope everyone has as much fun listening to it as i do.”
Brisbane’s Ball Park Music follow up recent hits Like Love and Please Don’t Move To Melbourne with Coast Is Clear, the heartfelt focus track of their much-anticipated eighth studio album Like Love, ahead of embarking on a massive 30-date Australian & New Zealand tour in May.
Where the album’s title track, Like Love, shows a softer and more introspective side of the band and Please Don’t Move To Melbourne had you singing along to its upbeat melody and undeniable chorus, the album’s third single, Coast Is Clear, gives us a profound insight into the effects of getting caught up in the day-to-day grind instead of being present for life’s everyday joys and the debilitating guilt that comes with that realisation, all set to a beautiful, hopeful, building rhythm begging that “Someday You’ll Appear”.
Ball Park Music singer-songwriter Sam Cromack says of the song, “This song has been kicking around since before Weirder & Weirder, but it remained on the sidelines for some reason. When we revisited it during the making of this album it became one of our favourites. It was the first song we did when we arrived in Sydney to start recording. It began with me thinking how busy/absent/distracted I can feel not just as a parent, but as a person. I often find it hard to unplug from the rush of the world and to be present with those I love, and am left feeling intense guilt and self-loathing at my inability to change. I originally sang ‘Someday I’ll appear’ but it felt much better when changed to ‘you’. The original feeling of the song remained but now this mysterious open-ended question was cast over who it is that may appear one day. I liked that”.
Australia’s favourite rock-punk powerhouse, Teenage Joans, kick off 2025 with Sweet And Slow, a brand-new single infused with 2010s pop-punk nostalgia. Bursting with punchy riffs, soaring vocals, and a scream-it-at-the-top-of-your-lungs chorus, the track follows their critically acclaimed 2023 debut album, The Rot That Grows Inside My Chest, their recent single 1800-PAINLESS, and a standout triple j Like A Version performance last year.
Sweet And Slow is a sonic distillation of everything Teenage Joans do best—catchy hooks, raw emotion, and an infectious energy that demands to be blasted at full volume. “We love to refer to Sweet and Slow as our ‘Disney Channel’ song, as it emanates that early 2010s pop-punk sound,” says vocalist and guitarist Cahli Blakers. “We brought this super catchy chorus we had written to Jayden Seely, who co-wrote the song with us. It was our first session with him, and the energy in the room was great—we all knew we were writing such a fun song.”
From name-dropping Phoebe Bridgers to likening love to a game show rigged against them, Teenage Joans effortlessly weave pop culture touchstones into their storytelling, making Sweet and Slow feel both deeply personal and universally relatable. The track plays with contrasts—love as a whirlwind yet a slow burn, a hurricane yet a daisy chain—mirroring the dizzying push and pull of infatuation.
At its core, Sweet And Slow is a love letter to the ones we can’t quit—an ode to choosing the same person, time and time again, no matter the circumstances. “The lyrics came naturally, and we love how effortlessly they match the song’s cheesy energy,” Cahli adds.
Channelling raw emotion into irresistibly catchy, heart-on-sleeve pop-punk, Sweet And Slow sets the tone for an exciting year to come for Teenage Joans.
Grammy-nominated band, The Marías release their highly anticipated new single “Back To Me” and drop surprise track “Nobody New” via Nice Life Recording Company/Atlantic Records – listen here.
Produced by Josh Conway and written together “Back to Me” is a song of desperation & yearning. The dreamy synths, heavy bass and catchy lyrics make for an addicting listen. Surprise single “Nobody New” matches the theme of loneliness as lead singer María Zardoya’s Latin vocals enhance the melancholic slowed down track. Benny Blanco is credited as a writer on the B-Side and it was produced by Josh Conway & María. The two new tracks come ahead of the band’s return to the desert to perform at Coachella next weekend.
On the release María shares “‘Back to me’ was written a couple months after Submarine was complete. We were jamming in the studio as a band, and the guys were experimenting with some new synth sounds and ominous chords. I immediately went into the vocal booth, and the melody and lyrics came to me faster than any other song. It felt like divine intervention. After finishing it, it felt like the start of a new era beyond Submarine. Consider it an introduction to a new world.”
“Submarine dealt with the raw emotions of going through a heartbreak right after it happened. ‘Back to me’ is what comes after – the breakup actually happens when an ex moves on to someone new. It deals with the emotions that come along with that. Even though in the end you may not want them back at all, in the moment, that’s all you want to relieve the pain”
John Butler’s grasp of melody, soul and anthemic pop choruses have kept him on our airwaves for more than 20 years, and his new single Trippin On You, catapults us back to classic Butler goodness with fervour.
Trippin On You hurtles towards us with echoes of hits Zebra and Better Man, filling our ear holes with sunshine grooves and heart-on-sleeve reflections, not to mention a blazing refrain that is as hopeful as it is infectious.
“This song is about relationships, work and internal narratives,” Butler explains. “I’m struck that ALL good things in my life need work to maintain their goodness. Mental health, marriage, business relationships, a garden, a clean room, trust and reliability etc. They all need us to turn up. They all deserve our best selves.”
Never one to shy away from a lyrical truth bomb, JB is an open book of self-reflection and integrity, always quick to share his learnings through storytelling and lace them with some deep-seated funk and string picking to sweeten the sermon.
“This my advice to you, sometimes the truth it hurts
Everything worth keeping yeah takes a lot of work”
Video director Claudia Sangiorgi Dalimore has brought the song to life visually, showing the struggle of a couple’s relationship. The quintessentially Australian setting is mixed with a touch of Pueblo’s New Mexico – a nod to Butler’s American and Australian upbringing – and was filmed over a weekend in Tylden Victoria.
Multi-Platinum & Gold ARIA-certified, ARIA-nominated, and 4x Golden Guitar nominees, KINGSWOOD, return with a powerful tribute to one of rock’s greatest icons.
Blending the raw energy of classic rock with the rich storytelling of modern country, KINGSWOOD have built a reputation for electrifying performances and genre-defying artistry. Now, with their latest release, a bold reimagining of Tom Petty’s You Wreck Me, the band reiterate to audiences why they maintain a reputation as one of the most beloved acts in Oz, standing at the crossroads of heartland rock and country soul.
Fueled by passion, grit, and a relentless pursuit of sonic authenticity, KINGSWOOD breathe new life into this timeless anthem. Their rendition channels the reckless energy of love and destruction, honoring Petty’s legacy, all the while stamping the song with their own signature blend of soulful harmonies, driving guitars, and unfiltered emotion.
On the iconic track and their decision to cover it for their next single, the band expressed:
“It’s love, chaos, and obsession colliding at full speed. The feeling of being completely wrecked by someone, it’s something we’ve all lived through. Surrendering to a force greater than you’re able to control. The reckless pursuit of something you can’t quite hold onto. When we play it, we’re tapping into that raw, untamed emotion—like going into a boxing ring.” KINGSWOOD
