Skegss Announce ‘Top Heavy’ Tour This June & July

Currently in the midst of a 20+ date headline tour across North America, and about to kick off the Europe and UK leg next – Skegss are showing no signs of slowing down with the announcement of Top Heavy, their biggest ever Australian tour with support from The Buoys. Spanning from the east coast to the west, and also featuring placement within the 2025 VIVID program; this nationwide run follows the band performing to their largest crowds yet at Laneway Festival last month.

The announcement was made on triple j’s Mornings with Lucy Smith and follows the release of refreshing new earworm So Excited that the band released earlier this month, their first single after the highly anticipated latest album Pacific Highway Music which landed late last year via Loma Vista Recordings.

Fresh off the back of a UK/EU tour including sold out Glasgow, London and Paris shows; The Buoys are an all-woman rock band from Sydney, Australia, celebrated for their high energy performances and compelling songwriting. Emerging from the local DIY scene, they’ve swiftly become one of Australia’s most exciting and dynamic live acts. Named in triple j Unearthed’s Forecast: Ones To Watch, Fool Nelson are fresh off the back of their sold out their debut national headline tour with dates in Fremantle, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Pacific Highway Music presents Skegss’ most masterful and fully realised work to date. The Byron Bay-bred band’s third full-length – and follow-up to their acclaimed sophomore album Rehearsal, which debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, and led to their first-ever Coachella appearance and a sold-out U.S. tour – brings a newly heightened creative energy to every aspect of their explosive yet introspective form of rock. Centered on Reed’s frenetic and playful lyricism, Pacific Highway Music ultimately finds Skegss exploring the more complicated elements of the human experience with sincerity, soul, and unabashed joie de vivre.
