Aussie music legends Daryl Braithwaite and the OG Red Wiggle Murray Cook aka MURRAY have join forces to rework Daryl’s 1988 Top 10, 3 x platinum smash One Summer.
‘One Summer – MURRAY Remix’ is the first track for Murray Cook as a solo artist (MURRAY) and is set to be the new summer anthem!
On the remix, Daryl says “It’s hard to believe that 36 years after its release, ‘One Summer’ continues to be a crowd favourite at my live shows! Murray Cook has done a great job of putting a modern spin on the track while honouring the original version and I hope people enjoy the remix this summer either on the dancefloor, by the pool, at a barbeque or whatever else they get up to this summer!”
MURRAY muses “It’s a huge thrill for me to work with a legend like Daryl Braithwaite – especially for my first project. I’ve always thought ‘One Summer’ was a great, joyous track and I’m excited to share a new take on it. I’d love it if it became a soundtrack for summer.”
