QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE Release Exclusive Vinyl In Celebration Of Australian Tour
To celebrate Queens of the Stone Age returning to Australia stages next month, their chart-topping opus In Times New Roman… is released on limited edition Royal Blue vinyl. The strictly limited variant will be in stores Friday, 9th February – the day before the iconic group open their nationwide tour in Perth at Red Hill Auditorium.
The news comes after immense demand resulted in Queens of the Stone Age announcing a second Sydney show for their far-reaching The End Is Nero Summer 2024 Australia tour. With tickets moving quickly for their upcoming appearance at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on Wednesday 21st February, the band have added an additional show at the venue on Thursday 22nd February. The tour will be the band’s first appearance in Australasia since 2018.
The far-reaching tour, hailed by NME as “a band reaching the peak of their powers” and the Lincoln Star Journal to proclaim it “the best rock show I’ve seen in a very long time” will see the band visit Adelaide, Hobart, Torquay, Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast, Perth and Brisbane.
The End is Nero tour is in support of their acclaimed eighth studio album, In Times New Roman… which debuted at #2 on the ARIA charts and which NME Australia described as “their darkest, knottiest material to date.” ‘The End Is Nero’ tour is an invitation from Joshua Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita and Jon Theodore to come celebrate the end of the world.
