Free Concert By ARIA Nominated San Cisco At The FIFA Fan Festival Tonight

San Cisco will play a FREE concert at the FIFA Fan Festival™ at Festival Plaza in Adelaide/ Tarntanya on Saturday night, 5 August 2023. The perennial indie-pop favourites hailing from Fremantle in WA are no strangers to playing major events having played the likes of Splendour In The Grass, Lollapalooza, and the iconic UK Reading & Leeds Festivals.
With previous ARIA Award nominations for Best Independent Release, Best Dance Release and Best Video, San Cisco have, since forming in 2009, become one of Australia’s most successful independent artists amassing multiple accolades, millions of streams and critical acclaim for their four studio albums and multiple headline tours across the globe.
The free San Cisco concert will wrap up a full day of activity at the FIFA Fan Festival™ on 5 August 2023 with two matches in the next round of 16 being live streamed onto the massive screen. In addition, there is an appearance by FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ Official Mascot Tazuni™, interactive games and activities plus DJ Felicity and Callum Hann curated food stalls, all making for a fabulous Saturday out for all ages.
San Cisco last visited Adelaide in early 2022 to play the Wine Machine event in McLaren Vale. “We’re really looking forward to heading back to Adelaide again to play the FIFA Fan Festival™. It’s been a while since we have performed here and we can’t wait. “It’s fantastic to see the incredible passion and enthusiasm for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ and these incredible athletes – we’re excited to be a part of it,” said Scarlett Stevens, San Cisco drummer and vocalist.
