Joining them on the ride are Brisbane-based band, u, acclaimed for their ARIA Platinum-certified hit single, Sunbleached Girl.
Presented by triple j, the band are set to ignite stages across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth this November. Building on the resounding success of their second album, Last of Your Kind, which saw the band sell out an intimate tour to celebrate its launch, The VANNS headline tour presents an opportunity for fans and indie rock music lovers to experience the band’s fresh and iconic catalogue performed on bigger stages nationwide.
In 2022 the band sold out their 2022 headline tour, delivered a memorable performance at The Great Escape Festival in the UK and provided support for English indie-rock icons, The Wombats and The Kooks, during their sold-out Australian headline tours. Furthermore, their emphatic headline performance in Melbourne was broadcasted across triple j’s ‘Live At The Wireless’ program, captivating listeners nationwide with hit single Feels Good Now.
The VANNS have also received two prestigious accolades, including the highly sought-after triple j Feature Album recognition across both albums, and delivered an awe-inspiring performance of Bon Iver’s Hey Ma on triple j Like A Version, accumulating an astounding 5 million views. Their remarkable achievements continue with the release of Last Of Your Kind, which made an impressive debut on the ARIA Charts. The album soared to #8 on the Albums Chart, an outstanding #2 on the Aus Albums Chart, and secured a notable #3 position on the Vinyl Chart, solidifying The VANNS’ incredible artistry.
