The Gov’s 30th Birthday Blues Extravaganza
Join us for an unforgettable night of blues music featuring the incredible talents of The Streamliners, Romaldo Groove, Stormhorse, and Dusty Lee Stephenson.
THE Streamliners are hailed as one of the best-kept secrets and premier R&B bands from South Australia. They’ve won countless awards over the years and backed up many international artists such as Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Holmes Brothers, Albert King, Charlie Musselwhite, The Fabulous T-Birds, Joe Loius Walker and were Muddy Waters’ son Mud Morganfield touring band at the 2017 Byron Bay BLUESFEST.
Romaldo Groove will get you bopping with their classic style of funky groove, soul and blues.
Stormhorse are a young up-and-coming Blues/Roots band and have plenty of hidden talent in their wings with tasty playing and funky grooves to get you in the mood.
Dusty Lee Stephensen has been long established as one of South Australia’s premier songwriters and touring outfits, with his band Wanderers since stepping into a new creative domain in recent years. Bringing together influences from across decades of soul, rock and pop luminaries; channeling in with contemporary flair and songwriting skill, the group have fashioned for themselves a sonic identity that exists strongly between a vintage cool and a central sound that is refreshingly new.
Immerse yourself in soulful rhythms and blistering guitar solos, this is a celebration you don’t want to miss!
ARBA (Adelaide Roots and Blues Association) will also be there with information on how to become a member and support upcoming artists from our vibrant city.
