COLDWAVE Joins The 2023 Laneway Festival Line-Up
triple j Unearthed has today announced that they’ve selected Adelaide’s post-punk outfit Coldwave to open the Adelaide leg of St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in 2023 💥
With a sound described by triple j’s Dave Ruby Howe as “indignant post-punk pulse accelerant”, the six-piece will be opening the main stage for the likes of Joji, HAIM, Phoebe Bridgers, The Jungle Giants and heaps more at Adelaide’s Bonython Park on February 10.
Coldwave’s Jordan Maywald states:
“Playing Laneway is an absolute dream for us – it’s still surreal! We won’t take a second for granted and are so grateful to triple j Unearthed and Laneway Festival for the opportunity. We can’t wait to jump onstage and represent Adelaide’s incredible music community.”
