Coterie’s Debut Australian Headline Tour Selling Out

Perth-based indie-pop quartet COTERIE are getting ready to embark on their first ever headline tour throughout July and August with a run of capacity dates across Australia.
COTERIE recently toured Australia in April 2022 with iconic New Zealand-based act Six60, performing to crowds of thousands. The group have gained remarkable attraction across the Tasman with two #1 charting singles and previous release Cool It Down becoming the most Shazammed song in New Zealand this year.
Talking about their latest chart success, vocalist Tyler Fisher says they hope their story can inspire other artists. “Twelve months ago, we were just a couple of brothers stuck in Perth, locked behind our borders away from the rest of the world and looking for a way to get our music out to a broader audience,” he says. “We made a video jamming to our favourite artist Six60, and had our fans smash their feed with it. Their manager eventually called ours and said ‘stop it, we’ve noticed you!’ That call led to a song writing trip, which led to a #1 single, which led to a tour support and so on. The moral of the story is be annoying. It works!”
COTERIE’s singles have been supported by the likes of triple j, triple j Unearthed, Double J, ABC Radio Australia, Hit Network, Coles Radio, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Clash Magazine (UK), NME, Pilerats, Life Without Andy, Music Feeds, Tone Deaf, 3RRR, 4ZZZ, SYN FM, RTR FM, Radio Adelaide, Three D Radio, Bay FM, The Hits (NZ), ZM (NZ), World FM (NZ), Q97 (NZ), Mai FM (NZ), Sun FM (NZ), KICK (NZ) and The Station (NZ).
After their debut headline tour in Australia, COTERIE will be re-joining Six60 for their New Zealand stadium tour.
