No Quarter… The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience

Zeppelin fans – be on notice. You are about to witness the legendary British supergroup in all its glory and excesses! Widely hailed as the best Led Zeppelin band on the planet, NO QUARTER, is pounding its way to our shores all the way from Seattle, USA. Rolling Stone magazine credited the band for keeping the Zeppelin spirit alive in a 2012 Collector’s Edition of Led Zeppelin. This is an authentic reproduction of Led Zeppelin’s ground-breaking stage show, so faithfully recreated that original band member, John Paul Jones said that “I never have to worry about touring with my band again.”

NO QUARTER has been wowing audiences all over the world in their authentic tribute stage show for more than fifteen years and has shared the stage with such legendary artists as Peter Frampton, Foreigner, Steppenwolf, Loverboy, Jefferson Starship and many others. Band members take on the characters of John Bonham, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page & Robert Plant and bring each of them to the stage in their absolute prime. This is more than a tribute act, NO QUARTER captures all the subtle nuances and mannerisms of the characters they are representing just like actors in a film. Fans who have seen the original band will think they’ve returned and can relive the magic. And fans who never had the chance to witness the supergroup won’t believe their luck – they will finally get to experience the iconic stage show for the first time. Bryan Christiansen answers some questions about their upcoming Australian tour.

What are you looking forward to most about touring Australia?
Looking forward to meeting all the Led Zeppelin fans in Australia. Really love also the countryside, the beaches and the culture.

How would you describe the show to Australian music fans?
I would describe our show as a re-enactment to honour the music and performance of Led Zeppelin. Its an opportunity for Led Zeppelin fans that never got to see them live to experience what it would have been like.

With a massive back catalogue, how do you narrow it down in to a ninety minute set?
It’s very difficult to narrow down the music of Led Zeppelin to 90 minutes. We keep to classic hits and deep cuts.

Has Led Zeppelin always been a significant influence for you musically?
Led Zeppelin has always been a huge influence on us all. For myself when I started learning the guitar I think Jimmy Page has been my biggest influence. They are all unbelievably talented musicians.

Was it ever a choice between being in No Quarter or being in another band?
It was never a choice of either No Quarter or another band. We all arrange schedules for touring and balance that with other musical projects of interest.

With the way that No Quarter plays did that involve lots of research and watching all the videos?
Absolutely tons of research and learning that never stops.

Do you have a favourite Led Zeppelin Album or particular period of time for the band?
Both. My favourite time was between 71-73’. My favourite albums were Led Zeppelin 2 , Led Zeppelin 4 and Physical Graffiti.

Do you feel the pressure of maintaining this legacy?
I think the pressures are inside anyone that wants to continue in their craft. Most of that though is when you are worried what others think instead of being true to yourself in your art. Then the pressure goes away.

Have any of the members of Led Zeppelin ever come to see No Quarter play?
Unfortunately not yet. We have had many other members of classic rock groups see us perform and approve from Nazareth, Kansas, Tesla, Peter Frampton, SoundGarden, etc. All were very supportive of our show.

What’s next for No Quarter?
The next step for No Quarter is to continue performing and touring all over the world.
