Rolling Blackouts C.F. Return With Their ‘Endless Rooms Tour’ This October

Frontier Touring are delighted to announce that after a recent string of gigs promoting their sun-splashed 2020 release Sideways to New Italy, Melbourne five-piece band Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever are once again ready to take the stage – this time with their Endless Rooms Tour, slated for October 2022. Joining the tour are special guests and Melbourne locals, Floodlights on all shows and Maple Glider (solo) – on all shows exc. WA.

“The songs on Endless Rooms are probably our biggest and fullest yet and were made to be played live. We can’t wait to bring the album to life on tour. We are very humbled to be bringing along some of the best acts in the country – Floodlights and Maple Gilder. (We also want to thank our WA friends for being patient with us, we’ve missed you). See you soon!” – Tom Russo (Rolling Blackouts C.F.)

The band is eager to introduce their latest music from their new album Endless Rooms (out now via Ivy League Records) to familiar crowds in Fremantle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Sydney, plus the addition of two regional shows in Torquay, VIC, and Margaret River, WA.

Rolling Blackouts C.F. will kick off their seven-show tour circuit at Torquay Hotel (VIC) on Thursday 13 October, before flying west with two WA shows at Freo.Social (Fremantle) on Friday 14 October and Settlers Tavern (Margaret River) on Saturday 15 October. They will then return to home turf playing Northcote Theatre (VIC) on Friday 21 October, before The Gov (SA) on Saturday 22 October, Fortitude Music Hall (QLD) on Thursday 27 October, and finally Metro Theatre (NSW) on Friday 28 October.

Supporting at each show on the Endless Rooms Tour is Floodlights – one of the hottest indie acts to emerge from post pandemic Melbourne – bringing their thoughtful and dynamic song craft to some of the biggest venues they have played. Recently selling out shows across the nation, and re-releasing their debut album From a View, Floodlights are now in the studio working on their follow up which we will get a taste of on this tour.

Maple Glider, the new project of solo artist Tori Zietsch (Peach with a Z), will open at all shows except WA. In the singer-songwriter tradition, Glider’s music is centred around the lyrics, exploring intimate themes, and often serving as a self-catharsis. Over plucked acoustic guitar or deftly weighted piano chords, Maple Glider shares vignettes of her life; growing up in a restrictive religious household, falling in and out of love, interstate and international relocations, and the new perspectives travel can bring along with the alienation of being away from the familiar.
