How has the build-up been leading up to the release of the single?
It’s been cool, I’m excited to share this song and video it’s a vibe.
Was the process of making your single as challenging as you thought?
No, it was quite seamless, had a lot of fun creating this and made the video in a day. Was cool
Sonically, how would you describe your music?
I’d call it Alt R&B with contemporary electronica influences.
Who would you consider to be the biggest influence on your music and why?
I’d say my close friends and also the internet. I’m forever learning new pockets and genres and explorations. There’s so much art out there – I’m a fan of art.
Best piece of advice you have been given?
“We don’t see things the way they are we see things the way we are”
How did the band get together?
I’m a one-person act on the creative side – I’m a singer song writer and direct my own videos. I have an incredible team around me which I’m grateful for and allows me to create.
Are you looking to tour more broadly?
Yes, I’d love to tour Europe and North and South America this year if given the opportunity.
What’s next for Driftwood?
Releasing lots of new music and videos. I’m also playing the Great Escape Festival in London in May.
