In exciting news for fans, XAVIER RUDD invites you to his inner sanctum for his premiere live streamed concert event, “BRAND NEW MOON – AT HOME WITH XAVIER RUDD,” exclusively on eMusic Live.
Taking place on Thursday March 24 from 8:00pm AEDT, the live streamed show will see Rudd preview a selection of songs from his brand-new, tenth studio album Jan Juc Moon for the first time anywhere in the world, ahead of its release the following day.
Nothing compares to experiencing Xavier Rudd in concert, a performer who is truly at his best on stage, acoustic guitar in hand. Engulfed by an ever more complex scaffold of didgeridoos, percussion and various eclectic instruments, Xavier cuts an utterly unique and compelling figure. One of Australia’s most successful international artists Xavier Rudd has amassed huge followings in Australia, North America, and Europe – he chooses idyllic destinations such as Spain, Portugal, and Croatia and of course Australia where his music, his message, and the environment around him all meet in stunning synchronicity.
Is this the most exciting week for an artist – leading up to the release of your new album Jan Juc Moon, and the anticipation of finally having it out there?
Yeah, I’m excited to get it out. It’s been a long time in the making. I feel like with this record, I’ve been able to be really creative and I’m excited about what I’m making just because I’ve had time. I’ve had the chance to do it all myself, which I haven’t done since Spirit Bird in terms of instrumentation and stuff, so I’ve been getting a bit trippy with an analog synthesizer.
Sonically how would describe your new album?
Dreamy
How hard has the last 12-18 months been as a musician and trying to make new music?
It’s been beautiful. I made the album at home and felt very blessed through the whole process.
What are the go to albums that get you feeling inspired?
Kings Bells – Midnite.
Are feeling more optimistic about more regular touring this year? You have a massive tour coming up…
Yeah, the world needs music. Music is it’s medicine – I’m excited to share.

An intimate look at a few different styles I think.
