Nazeem Hussain ‘Hussain That?’ Tour 2022

Unlike most, the pandemic didn’t find NAZEEM HUSSAIN hiding away. Rather, he seemed to be almost everywhere. So now it’s time to talk about it, and burgeoning household fave Hussain will return to stand up stages around the country in 2022 with a brand new show, Hussain That?, to do just that.

Hussain That? is Nazeem’s sixth solo stand up show and sees him opening his national tour at Adelaide Fringe on February 18, before returning to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and then onto the Perth, Sydney and Brisbane Comedy Festivals through to May.

Tickets for Hussain’s shows are on sale now!

It’s been a huge few years for Nazeem. You’d have seen his face pop up on Channel 7 in his own sketch series Orange Is The New Brown, or on his Netflix half-hour special Public Frenemy. Or maybe you took a selfie with Nazeem, literally as he was getting caught fare-evading on public transport. What a tight ass.

Selling out shows across Australia, New Zealand, Edinburgh, London, China, Malaysia, Montreal and even Sri Lanka, Nazeem is a comedian at the top of his game. Twice nominated for a Helpmann Award for ‘Best Comedy Performer’, and twice winning an Australian Writers’ Guild award for ‘Best Sketch Comedy’, Nazeem also made his Netflix debut in January 2019 as part of the streaming service’s unprecedented stand-up comedy event series, COMEDIANS of the world.

Naz has performed at the invitation-only Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, and three times at both Edinburgh Fringe and London’s Soho Theatre. His ABC comedy podcast, Burn Your Passport won iTunes Best Comedy Podcast of 2016 and is ranked in the 20 most listened to podcasts in Australia.

In 2020, Hussain launched his Survivor’s Guide to Corona Virus podcast, teaming up with some of Australia’s most loved comedians, entertainers and personalities. His latest offering is an Audible original podcast, Rogue Son, out now.

In 2021, Nazeem joined Dave Hughes with his problem-solving line up weekly on Hughesy, We Have A Problem on Ten, was the co-host of ABC’s marquee show, Australia Talks which has been nominated for a prestigious Rose d’Or Award, starred in Amazon Prime’s latest sketch show, The Moth Effect, as well as LOL: Last One Laughing Australia with Rebel Wilson, and is a now a seasoned regular on The Project. Phew, I’m exhausted.

Whatever post-pandemic plans you have, make Nazeem Hussain one of them in 2022.
