Woodville Town Hall’s Foyer Fridays Main Hall Sessions

Woodville Town Hall’s popular live music program Foyer Fridays will take over the Main Hall with the introduction of spring music series, Foyer Fridays’ Main Hall Sessions.

With a curated line-up of incredible local and live music, Foyer Fridays’ Main Hall Sessions sees Elsy Wameyo, Kelly Menhennett, Bjéar, Ollie English, Seabass and Chris Finnen perform on the historic main stage throughout spring.

It kicks off on Friday 17 September with two of South Australia’s premier blues and alt.country performers: award-winning singer-songwriter Kelly Menhennett and revered guitarist Chris Finnen (fresh off the release of his ‘Live in Lockdown’ album).

“Performing my songs in the stunning old Main Hall has been on my bucket list for some time,” says Kelly Menhennett. “Each time I visit I must look like one of those sideshow clowns, mouth wide open, in awe of the beauty and wondering what the walls have been witness to over the years. It’ll be an honour to fill the room with my music.”

Foyer Fridays is the western suburbs’ home of quality local music with artists of the calibre of Naomi Keyte, MANE, Adam Page, Max Savage and Nancy Bates all performing as part of the music series.

It returns as a ticketed main stage event with Kelly Menhennett and Chris Finnen to be followed by a double billing of emotive indie on Friday 22 October with the unique experimental electronic sounds of Bjéar and the potent raw power of the Annie Siegmann-led four-piece Seabass.

The spring installment of Main Hall Sessions will conclude with an evening of pop, soul, roots and hip hop with emerging neo-soul powerhouse Elsy Wamayo and 3-time Best Blues & Roots Award winner at the South Australian Music Awards – Ollie English.

Foyer Fridays is more than just the music. Doors will open to the Town Hall’s foyer at 5pm, where guests can sit back and enjoy a drink with friends from the bar and enjoy some of the state’s finest drops.

Tickets are on sale now and can be pre-purchased for $20 (adult), $15 (concession), or at the door for $25 (adult), $20 (concession). Children 12 years and under are free, unless sold out prior.
