Wollongong punks UNDER THE INFLUENCE (UTI) have released their monstrous new single Crows via Riot Records.
Crows is the follow up to the emotionally intense previous single Gone. UNDER THE INFLUENCE (UTI) are once again razor sharp on Crows, delivering a massive burst of metallic punk backed with superb production. Crows lets out frustrations towards all the fake people in this world. The ones that lie and talk behind your back, all whilst pushing their jaded negative views onto others. It’s about the people that will tell you they can fly when they can barely crawl. This song has them fall apart stitch by stitch, line by line – and it’s only a matter of time before their facade crashes down around them. The mask falls off and the crows dive in to rip the eyeballs from their skulls.
Swiss hard rockers KING ZEBRA have dropped their new single Hot Cop Lady through Crusader Records (part of the Golden Robot Global Entertainment Group), which is now available on all digital platforms. Hot Cop Lady is the follow up to their recent single Wall Of Confusion (featuring Guernica Mancini of Thundermother).
Hot Cop Lady is a pure 90’s, hard-rock infused stormer of a track that harks back to the glory days. Who says you can’t have fun stretching the truth in a rock song? This fast hard-rocking crowd pleaser will get you air-guitaring the riffs and chanting the anthemic chorus.
Crossing I’s Dotting T’s (self- proclaimed “emo-gressive punk rock”) morphs raw, aggressive punk rock with pop-punk/emo rock, to create a unique sound with a raw experience that can make you feel your emotions while simultaneously making you bounce.
The band recently signed to Riot Records (part of the Golden Robot Global Entertainment Group) and have today released their debut single through the label, Dissatisfied, which is now available on all digital platforms.
Dissatisfied is a track about being overwhelmed with life and relationships of all kinds, as well as the inevitability of death while feeling like there is always pressure to live up to something.
Crossing I’s Dotting T’s have also announced that they are releasing their self-titled debut EP on the 6th of August. This 4-track EP was produced by Alex Estrada and mastered by Jack Shirley. The band’s self-proclaimed “emo-gressive punk rock” comes to the fore in this EP that touches on topics such as societal pressures, relationships, loss, and living life with no regrets.

I Can’t Help It is a song about a person who can’t help falling in love. No matter what he/she does, they see their person and fall deeper in love each day, each time they meet. It’s a mid-tempo song which builds just before the end when it reprises the opening.
The singles King Of The Night Time World and Escape’, both originally recorded by THE HOLLYWOOD STARS, were then made famous by Kiss and Alice Cooper respectively.
After hitting the UK rock chart at number 6 with their recent EP Intra, powerhouse UK hard rock trio SKAM keep the pedal down by releasing their second single and video Fade Out from their impending second EP Venous, which is now available for pre-sale/pre-order and will be released on October 1st.

International melodic death metal band ACT OF DENIAL have released their 5th single Your Dark Desires via Crusader Records (part of the Golden Robot Global Entertainment), which comes off their debut album Negative. Your Dark Desires contains trademarks of the late 2000s melodic death metal and features a ripping guitar solo from virtuoso Ron ‘Bummblefoot’ Thal (Guns ‘N Roses, Sons of Apollo).
Vocalist Björn Strid comments: “’Your Dark Desires’ is about inner struggle and being able to separate inherited angst and self-inflicted mental pain; once you’ve learned, you can move on and feel much stronger. The song is motivational and about acceptance.”
ACT OF DENIAL have also announced that their album Negative will be released on the 13th of August. Negative is a project that features some of the biggest names in rock and metal, and offers powerful and melodic death metal that takes the listener back to the late 90s and early 2000s. Combining aggression with majestic and melancholic choruses, Negative is an album that creates tension, both musically and lyrically, and keeps the listener there from start to finish.
ACT OF DENIAL was founded by Voi Cox (Koziak, Victim) & guitarist Luger (Koziak, Benighted-Cro). They are joined by Björn Strid (Soilwork), bassist Steve Di Giorgio (Death, Testament), drummer Kerim “Krimh” Lechner (Septicflesh) and keyboardist John Lönnmyr (The Night Flight Orchestra).
