Australian Alt Group Atlas Genius Mark Long-Awaited Return With New Track “Elegant Strangers”
Critically-acclaimed alt band Atlas Genius have just released their new track Elegant Strangers, the group’s first official offering in over three years and also their first since signing to Better Noise Music.
The track is a natural progression to Atlas Genius’ signature sound, which saw immediate success with their 2011 breakthrough hit Trojans. Elegant Strangers was a collaborative writing effort from the band’s singer Keith Jeffrey, acclaimed producer Ben H. Allen (Animal Collective, Washed Out, Bombay Bicycle Club) and The Bravery’s singer/ songwriter Sam Endicott (The Bravery, Shakira).
In a collective statement, the band said, “This is a song about finding the escape door. A person finally seeing the beauty and optimism they’ve always wanted in life, and never wanting this moment to end.”
