Adelaide audiences can cheer in relief to the news that the Triple M Weekend of Rock will proceed as planned, with all bands now confirmed to perform.
The artists who have been approved to enter South Australia include Melbourne-based Chocolate Starfish, Boom Crash Opera and Daryl Braithwaite. Tasmanian-based Rick Brewster of The Angels and Jon Stevens are currently located in QLD and are also able to enter South Australia to perform this weekend alongside Adelaide-based The Zep Boys, The Masters Apprentices and all other members of The Angels.
“It has been excellent working with SA Health to secure this event for Adelaide, and we greatly appreciate their assistance and advice in ensuring the event could proceed as planned in a COVID safe manner.” a spokesperson for Weekend of Rock said.
Triple M Adelaide presents a line-up of Australia’s most popular acts across three nights of live music with Weekend Of Rock on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st February 2021.
The concert series marks one year since Adelaide Oval hosted Queen as the last live music act to perform prior to COVID-19.
