New Singles On Nuclear Blast

Check out these new single releases on Nuclear Blast…

Swedish metal powerhouse IN FLAMES have released a new lyric video for the new re-recorded version of Bullet Ride, that’s featured on their upcoming Clayman (20th Anniversary Edition) out on August 28th from Nuclear Blast.

Celebrating the 2-decade milestone of their critically acclaimed breakthrough, IN FLAMES recently released the Clayman 2020 bonus tracks, which include 4 newly re-recorded tracks and a new instrumental that are available now on all digital and streaming services via Nuclear Blast.

After transporting us into a new dimension and lifting us up into a higher level of modern metal, AMARANTHE are ready to drag us deep down to hell: Forged in the burning fire of passion and heavy riffs, together with one of Finland’s most powerful voices, Noora Louhimo (BATTLE BEAST), AMARANTHE is going Strong and have released the second single of their upcoming album Manifest, out on October 2nd.

“Devil and saint, martyr and sinner, betrayal and loyalty – ‘Strong’ essentially underlines the dualistic nature of what it means to be human. In an increasingly polarised world, we found it incredibly exciting to reach across the metal world and find collaboration and unity with the phenomenal Noora Louhimo. Even if the world around you is on fire, and if you find yourself at a disadvantage, remember that there is always one part of you that will remain – ‘Strong’.”

PALLBEARER, who are set to release their fourth album, Forgotten Days on October 23th via Nuclear Blast, have released a second track from the nine-song album: Rite of Passage.

“’Rite of Passage’ is both a reflection and a confessional,” explains bass player/songwriter Joseph Rowland. “The toll that loss has taken on my life often finds ways to remind me that I may never feel whole, and the song’s purpose is to express and embody that emptiness. It felt totally appropriate to wrap it in reimagined trappings of our earliest doom-leaning material.”

PRIMAL FEAR recently released their highly anticipated 13th studio album, Metal Commando, which has entered the charts worldwide, achieving them their highest entries ever and six top ten positions; including #7 in Germany, #6 in Switzerland and #4 in the UK Rock charts! Today, the band release a new video for the new single The Lost & The Forgotten.

Mat Sinner comments: “‘The Lost & The Forgotten’ follows the PRIMAL FEAR tradition for example our songs ‘The End Is Near’ or ‘Hounds Of Justice’ of the last albums and shows the more brutal, modern side of the band, which will be a very strong contender for the forthcoming live shows. Thanks to the team for their fantastic hard work to realize our vision of the song, especially Markus Staiger, Bodo Hayen and Ubikmedia!”

English metal legends CARCASS will return this fall with their first collection of new music, Despicable, in 7 years. The forthcoming EP features 3 brand new tracks, including The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue that was released today, as well as the previously revealed song Under The Scalpel Blade. The EP is scheduled for release on October 30th from Nuclear Blast.

The lords of death and grind’s new EP Despicable offers fans a taste of the brutality that awaits on the band’s heavily anticipated 7th studio album coming in 2021.

“Well the Covid situation has put the release of the new CARCASS album on the back burner for the time being. Given that we said there’d be new music in August we thought it would be cool to have a stop gap release and let you hear some of the tracks that never quite made the cut. Don’t say we never give you anything. Enjoy.” – Jeff Walker

It is not about avoiding fear of the pitch-black darkness, but to go into the darkness itself…

Norway’s premier progressive black metallers Enslaved have today released third single Urjotun from their upcoming studio album Utgard – out 2nd October via Nuclear Blast. The single, one of their most experimental yet, is accompanied by a psychedelic video detailing dark visions and a journey to the outer reaches of the subconscious.

Vocalist Grutle Kjellson commented:
“The lyrical idea for Urjotun had been spinning around in the chaos in the back of my head for quite a while, when Ivar sent me the riff-demo last autumn. I knew instantly that this was it, the very soundtrack of the rise of the primeval giant, the Urjotun! Our mutual love and fascination for that early krautrock scene and for bands like Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk, finally fully ascended in an Enslaved song, almost 30 years after we picked up those legendary kraut-albums. It’s funny, that in Germany they referred to this kind of music as “Kosmische Musik”, cosmic music! And, that is exactly what this song is about; cosmic chaos. On top of this, director David Hall, made a perfect projection and visualization of our troubled minds.”

Canadian melodic death metal heavyweights KATAKLYSM will unleash their 14th full-length studio album, Unconquered, on September 25th via Nuclear Blast Records. The band releases the music video for their second single entitled, Underneath The Scars.

Maurizio Iacono comments, “’Underneath the Scars’ is a bulldozer of a track that will surely ignite the world’s metalheads into straight headbanging madness. We look forward to bringing this beast live when the time comes. Since all the KATAKLYSM members live in different states and countries as well as all the travel restrictions in place, there was no way we could get together and film another concept video as we had planned. So we dug up some unreleased footage from last year’s European headlining tour and decided to pull together a cool montage of what we miss the most; playing live with our crazy fans by our side! Meanwhile, crank up Underneath the Scars and pull them horns up in the air!”

Sweden’s rock sensation BLUES PILLS released their long-awaited self-produced studio album on Holy Moly! on August 21st and are ready to drag the listener into a world of psychedelic tunes, soaring soundscapes, emotional hymns and Elin Larsson’s powerful soul voice!

After topping the charts in several countries and even hitting the #1 position in Germany with their previous studio effort Lady In Gold, the band decided to work with renowned Grammy Award winning Andrew Scheps and Nicolaus Arson (The Hives) to prove that they are here to stay as leaders of a new generation of vintage rock.

To celebrate the release of this third full-length creation Holy Moly!, the young quartet presents a new music video for their single Rhythm In The Blood.

”This album is something we’ll be proud of even after death”, the band reflects. “These songs are from a very dark period of our lives. So much loss, anger and anxiety. Sadness and change. A separation into reincarnation. We stand behind every note and every word. This album was created in darkness and it guided us into the light again. One can only hope it will give you comfort too.”

Norwegian death metal horde INSIDIOUS DISEASE, featuring current/former members from DIMMU BORGIR, MORGOTH, NILE, SUSPERIA and NAPALM DEATH, have announced their first album in a decade, After Death, will be released on October 30th with Nuclear Blast. Pre-orders are available now and the band has just unleashed a lyric video for a skull-crushing new track titled Betrayer.

Commenting on the new track, vocalist Marc Grewe says, “‘Betrayer’ kicks in straight away and has a quite remarkable hookline and a riffing that kicks you right into the balls. We can’t wait to play that song live again, which we did already a couple of times, and even if fans didn’t know the song yet, it always got a great response and people freaked/moshed out to it! Lyrically, it deals with stuff everybody has experienced: Getting f**ked over/ betrayed by people you actually once trusted/loved to the fullest… this can be girlfriends/boyfriends, bandmates, friends or even family… It was a good cathartic event for me when writing these lyrics… from that feeling of total disappointment into anger and finally to expressing it via a song, that channelled all those negativity into something positive!”
