The Veronicas To Play The Tour Down Under

The Veronicas are set to wow the fans at the Santos Tour Down Under, with confirmation they will be performing after the Team Presentations on Saturday 18th January 2020.

The renowned Aussie sister-duo and ARIA Award winners will take to the stage to perform new music and old favourites for thousands of fans in the City of Adelaide Tour Village after team presentations, kicking off the week of celebrations for the state.

Executive Director Events South Australia, Hitaf Rasheed says this years’ team presentation and after party concert will again be one of the biggest events on the Santos Tour Down Under festival calendar.

“The Santos Tour Down Under is a world-class event and wonderful opportunity to celebrate South Australia, attracting thousands of national and international visitors to South Australia. We hope that the free and exclusive performance will entertain the crowds and people will have a fantastic time and enjoy The Veronicas concert.” said Ms Rasheed.

The 2020 event will mark 22 years of the Santos Tour Down Under in South Australia. The Team Presentations including free concert and City of Adelaide Tour Village attract wide audiences, as well as cycling enthusiasts each year to celebrate the festival of cycling.

Sisters, Lisa and Jess Origliasso, who together make up The Veronicas said, “We can’t wait to bring our show to the outdoors of Adelaide. It’s one of our favourite cities in the world. We’ll be previewing new music from our album, and we can’t wait to celebrate the wine and the architecture!! It’s some of the most special in the world”.

The 11-day event brings pro and amateur cyclists, cycling enthusiasts, festival-goers, families and sports fans alike, together to enjoy and experience both the racing and all the festival has to offer.

The Team Presentation & Free Concert presented by BikeExchange will take place on Saturday 18 January 2020 in the City of Adelaide Tour Village. Team Presentation kicks off at 6:30 PM. The Veronicas will be performing at 8:30 PM.
