The band described as ‘humanity’s most exhilarating dance party’ are taking their incredible party-starting energy around Australia in 2020, visiting Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne during February, March and April. After the unprecedented success of their album, A Very Furnace Christmas in 2019 taking out #29 in the ARIA album charts and beating the King of Christmas himself, Michael Buble, Furnace and the Fundamentals are set to hit the road bringing their raucous party extravaganza across the country.
The six Sydney showmen with a penchant for party covers and over-the-top antics will deliver FURNAPALOOZA – an exhilarating, non-stop party set of the greatest songs of all time, accompanied by a mind-boggling, memory-triggering matrix of music footage on the big screen, plus light up suits, inflatables and more dance-floor anthems than you can count.
This announcement comes as the cherry on top of a massive year for Furnace and the Fundamentals, who are celebrating a charting record with their A Very Furnace Christmas record hitting #XX on the ARIA charts, earning coverage on MTV UK, Triple M Australia, KIIS Australia, Channel 7’s The Morning Show and more, as well as two raucous, sold-out Christmas parties at Oxford Arts Factory.
Absolutely itching to get back on the road, Furnace said, “AUSTRALIA! It’s been too long since we’ve been around our home country so we’re going all out & bringing the full FURNAPALOOZA party to everyone in Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane & Sydney from Feb to April 2020. Can’t wait to party with you!!!”
