Harts Plays Hendrix Tour
Off the back of selling out the Melbourne Recital Centre with the premiere of Harts Play Hendrix in May this year, Harts is taking his powerful live set on a national tour of Australia for the first time. This reverent and insightful exhibition of talent will be a great opportunity to see Harts and Hendrix on stage at the same time.
The tour commences in Adelaide on March 6, followed by Melbourne, Wollongong, Sydney, Brisbane, Tweed Heads, Caloundra, Perth, Bunbury, Penrith, Wyong, and concluding in Geelong on June 20.

Harts has garnered constant comparison to Hendrix with his expansive explorations of funk, rock, jazz, blues and psychedelia. Having rocked the Sydney Opera House steps on Australia Day, he features currently in a David Jones campaign alongside Flume and last Friday, revealed his new alliance with ICC T20 World Cup.

This stunning live performance celebrates the 50 year legacy of Jimi Hendrix and pays tribute to the anniversaries of his studio albums while bringing the distinct flair of his iconic performances as only Harts can. The show consists of a carefully curated setlist from Jimi’s entire catalogue, performed live by Harts in a powerful three-piece band experience.
Darren Hart, professionally known as Harts, is an acclaimed musician, singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer. Over the years, Harts has established himself as one of Australia’s finest young talents, composing, recording and producing three studio albums, two EPs and a live album, securing three #1 most played songs on Australian radio station Triple J, his 2014 long-player, Daydreamer, drew praise from Prince Rogers Nelson himself, who noted that Harts full-length debut reminded him “of how I was at that age”. Harts was awarded GQ Breakthrough Artist Of The Year award in 2016 and collaborated on a song with The Roots and Lenny Kravitz for the official 2016 Olympic Games Campaign.
