Since 2011, MONSTER FEST has grown to become Australia’s premier horror and genre film festival, having steadily gained prestige, it is now regarded as one of the most important names in the international film festival world.
Having partnered in 2017 with EVENT CINEMAS, Australia’s largest cinema chain, the festival has gone on to see significant growth with nationwide expansion. Now this new partnership with FANGORIA will see 2019 as their biggest and best year yet.

FANGORIA x MONSTER FEST 2019: MONSTER TAKES AUSTRALIA will run simultaneously around the country at five of Australia’s highest profile EVENT CINEMAS locations from Thursday October 31st to Sunday November 3rd in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth and Sydney.
Each festival is a four-day weekend featuring screenings, special events and filmmaker Q&As, all built around a program of diverse and highly imaginative genre films; a celebration of the latest and greatest cinema from around the world.
