Combining garage rock crunch with driving dance groove, Los Angeles rock band NEXT CItY is making their sonic assault on the world with the release of their debut single Blue Star.
NEXT CItY have released their second single Tell Me along with an incredible video.
It’s hot off the success of their debut Blue Star, whose video has now amassed over 60K views. In addition to the release of the single, the band has also launched a Kickstarter campaign filled with exclusive merch, signed photos, personalised messages and more as rewards for their fans.
Lyrically, this song is all about the back and forth of being involved with someone, but being unsure of what they want from you. Philip Paulsen (guitarist) started with a riff and composition, then handed it off to Larsen for lyrics and melody, a perfect example of the dynamic duo’s synergetic work.
