Returning from their recent overseas jaunt touring the UK and Europe, Adelaide faves Horror My Friend have hit the ground running with the announcement of a co-headline tour with Melbourne’s Flyying Colours. The two acts will take to the stage in both Adelaide and Melbourne later this month.
Horror My Friend have proven themselves to be one of Australia’s up and coming purveyors of barely controlled noise and fuzz. Their latest single Turned Loose was added to rotation on triple j, and clocked up over 90k spins on Spotify after adds to high profile playlists like New Music Friday AU/NZ, All New Rock, New Noise plus more. Additionally their recent overseas stint saw them tour the UK and Europe for the first time, including dates at The Great Escape and Groezrock.
Not to be outdone Melbourne’s Flyying Colours arrive at a sound that combines My Bloody Valentine’s wall-of-sound guitars and barely there girl/boy vocals with sun-drenched melodies.
Coming together for the first time as equals these shows are not to be missed.
