Venue Change For Bananarama In Adelaide

In just under a month British pop duo Bananarama land on our shores for a string of headline shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast! Joined by very special guests Tiffany (USA) and Amber (GER) the duo make their return with the freshly released single Dance Music following the announce of their highly anticipated eleventh studio album In Stereo (out 19 April 2019 through In Synk).

Frontier Touring and Arena Touring announce a venue update for Adelaide fans. The show remains taking place on Friday 19th February but will move from previously announced Thebarton Theatre to a more intimate setting at The Gov, 59 Port Rd, Hindmarsh, SA. Ticketholders need not take action as all tickets remain valid for entry at The Gov. Tickets are on sale now via Oztix, get in quick before they run out!

Their first new album in 10 years, In Stereo encompasses Bananarama’s everlasting creativity, vigour and passion highlighted in first taste Dance Music. Back to their pinnacle best, In Stereo is a ten-track total recall on the bands irresistible pop storytelling capacity.

Childhood friends Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward came up through the London punk scene, starting out as backing vocalists before joining forces with Siobhan Fahey and starting to write songs and perform with their friends’ bands. Opening the door for so many aspiring female pop artists, Bananarama are one of the greatest parables of their era – creating music on their own terms as the 80s mopped up the mess of Punk and transformed into something real and affecting.

With a slew of hits to their name, including Shy Boy, Cruel Summer, Robert De Niro’s Waiting and the eternally iconic Venus, it’s no surprise Bananarama are the most successful female band ever, with the most charting singles in the world.

1987’s album WOW debuted at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart, and featured the smash hits I Heard A Rumor, Love In The First Degree, I Can’t Help It and Venus, cementing them as instant legends.

Sweetening the deal is special guest Tiffany, whose tracks I Think We’re Alone Now and Could’ve Been catapulted her to pop stardom. Also on the bill will be German diva Amber, whose solo hits include This Is Your Night, and Sexual (Li Da Di). Who could forget, though, her part in super group Starz On 54 and their hit If You Could Read My Mind, sure to ignite dancefloors all across the country!

Bananarama are absolute ‘80s royalty. These shows are unmissable, limited tickets remain for their first shows on our shores in three years – Secure your spot ASAP!
